ShantaGabrielAA Gabriel ~ Just as a storm can clear the air with its cleansing rain, a disruption of energy also serves to bring clarity.

This disruption is a blessing that may come disguised as that which you do not want in your world. Sometimes knowing what you don’t want is the quickest way to knowing what you do want for yourself in all situations. Clarity of mind is necessary in order to bring about that which you would like to see manifested in every area of your life.

Freeing Your Mind

OwenKWatersWhen people start practicing meditation, they often find themselves distracted by other thoughts.

After a minute or two of meditation, their minds wander off on a tangent that seems so much more interesting. Then they remember why they are there and abruptly focus back on the meditation. The question is, how can you gain enough focus and dedicated attention to go deeper into meditation?

As the old joke goes, a young musician once traveled to New York City especially to see the world’s top violin virtuoso perform at the legendary Carnegie Hall. Lost on the streets of New York and running late, he paused breathless and asked a senior gentleman on the street corner, “Can you tell me, please: How do I get to Carnegie Hall?” The wise-looking gentleman looked him in the eyes, thought for a moment, sighed deeply and replied, “Practice, practice, practice!”

And so it is with meditation… practice, practice, practice, except that it’s a lot easier!

As you practice, keep refocusing your mind whenever it wanders off, and always be patient with yourself when you do this. It is the nature of the conscious mind to wander off, so there is no point in feeling bad about it. Be kind to yourself always and nudge your attention back on-purpose whenever necessary. GMOs Invade Fruit Industry: Apples, Pears, Cherries And Peaches To All Become Unlabeled GMO

mikeAdamsGenetically modified apples have been approved by the industry-corrupted USDA, a federal regulator that accomplishes for the biotech industry the same thing the FDA achieves for Big Pharma: unlimited profits, lax regulation and a ready willingness to accept fabricated “science” as fact.

“The USDA’s environmental review received 73,000 comments that overwhelmingly opposed the commercialization of Arctic Apples,” explains a press release from Food & Water Watch. [1]

The GMO apple that just received approval was developed by the Okanagan Specialty Fruits company, which says it “…married the best of nature with the best of science.”

The road to Hell, of course, is paved with the best of intentions, and that’s the problem with all these GMOs: Modern science is rolling the dice with a self-replicating “genetic pollution” scenario that could play out in ways that no scientist ever anticipated. As the Food & Water Watch press release explains:

The USDA has neglected to look at the full range of risks from these apples. In its environmental assessment, the USDA glossed over the possibility of unintentional effects associated with the technology used to engineer these apples, potential economic impacts on the U.S. and international apple market, effects of potential contamination for non-GMO and organic apple growers and the impact of the non-browning gene silencing which also can weaken plant defenses and plant health.

In addition to genetically modified apples, the Okanagan Specialty Fruits company also promises to roll out genetically modified peaches, cherries and pears. [3]

Suppression of the PPO gene may lead to less nutritious fruits

To achieve its GMO apples, the Okanagan fruit company has developed a way to reduce the natural browning of apples that takes place after they are sliced. This is accomplished by genetically suppressing the polyphenol oxidase (PPO) gene. Continue reading →

New Altered Bacteria Can Convert Sunlight Into Liquid Fuel

LeafAlternativeEnergySourceWe have been looking for alternative fuel sources for years! Now, scientists have discovered that certain bacteria can take hydrogen molecules that have been split from water using the energy of the sun, and convert them to alcohol based fuel.

Researcher have now paired a solar-powered catalyzing device with genetically engineered bacteria to convert water and carbon dioxide into fuel. The system has been dubbed the bionic leaf!

The process, which is modeled after the way plants use photosynthesis to turn CO2, H20 and other compound into energy, with some chemical twists, of course. The ‘artificial leaf’ is the silicon cell that can produce the energy using nothing but sunlight and water. The leaf is steeped in water, and when the sunlight comes down, it spits the water into hydrogen and oxygen molecules that can then be stored as an energy source. This is the same thing a natural leaf does, except it works ten times faster than nature!

“With a single gallon of water (3.7 litres), Nocera says, the chip could produce enough electricity to power a house in a developing country for an entire day,” “Provide every house on the planet with an artificial leaf, and we could satisfy our 14-terrawatt need with just one gallon of water a day.” Continue reading →
