Zen Gardner ~ Changing In Times Of Accelerating Change

awakening

Things change more than we think. Way more and in more ways, especially at this time of an exponentially accelerating awakening. But even when we’re aware of the underlying reality of constant change, we often reference new changes by our memory and perception of old changes and previous reference points.

The point is, we’re prone to judge change by points of attachment. That cannot be very accurate. Nor is it fully conscious.

I was shocked to realize how attached I am to my various “points of view” while I thought I really wasn’t. But that’s how the mind is wired, a passive reality lurking for activation that we need to be aware of.

The Subtle Reflex

Everything’s shifting and in shifting ways. As well as in a shifting perception of change. Quite the combination. What I realized for myself is that what I’ve been comparing to was an emotional imprint most of all. I was looking back to different periods of time in my life in comparison to what I’m going through now and how they affected me. I was conjuring up old impressions in contrast with a current experience.

I was doing this for whatever reason. Understanding, nostalgia, encouragement, measurement of some sort perhaps. There’s so much that flows through our minds as we seek meaning and definition. Continue reading

Kaleigh Rogers ~ The World’s Most Powerful Particle Accelerator Is Going After Dark Matter

CERNIt’s always hard to top a blockbuster first season that left off with a killer surprise ending, but the team at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider hopes season two will be even wilder than the first.

The world’s most powerful particle accelerator wrapped up its first season (what CERN calls the period when the LHC is active) in 2012 with the discovery of the Higgs boson—the “God” particle that helps explain how particles gain mass—and it may seem hard to top that. But after taking some time to do a complete overhaul of the LHC, CERN is set to fire it back up this year for another three-year season, running at nearly double the energy it had in its first season. They’ve also replaced many of the high-powered magnets that drive the accelerator, have reinforced all 10,000 electrical connections, and will be using narrower beams.

These improvements will not only allow the researchers to gain more insight on the Higgs boson (and possibly find other, similar particles) but it will also help them in their quest for answers to some even bigger questions about the universe, like what the hell dark matter is.

“What is the dark matter we see out there in the universe?” asked David Charlton, the scientific lead on the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, during a press conference this morning. “We know it has to be there, can we create it and study it in the laboratory?” Continue reading

Jon Rappoport ~ Yet Another Corrupt Judge In The Maui Vs. Monsanto Case?

“The Judge rhetorically asked, “Is there any dispute that the enactment of either of these bills would nullify the [Maui voters’] ordinance at issue in this case?”” – J Rappoport

judgeLast Election Day, the voters on Maui passed a resolution to temporarily stop Monsanto and Dow from continuing their toxic GMO and pesticide experiments in the “open-air laboratory” of Maui.

Monsanto and Dow sued immediately to nullify the will of the people. Since then, the case has been hung up in the courts.

A few months ago, I exposed the fact that the federal judge handling the case, Barry Kurren, was compromised, because his wife, Faye, was involved with an environmental group that had accepted huge money from Dow.

Judge Kurren, for whatever reasons, is no longer on the case. The sitting judge now is Susan Oki Mollway.

It’s all good now, right?

Wrong.

Hours before a scheduled March 10 hearing, which hopefully would have made progress toward a resolution of the voters of Maui’s position (ban GMOs) vs. Monsanto and Dow’s position (let us keep poisoning the people of Maui with our experimental pesticides and experimental GMOs)…boom. Judge Mollway postponed the hearing. Continue reading

Personal Alchemy: The Power Of Individuals Over Institutions

“. . . most individuals have come to value the falsely-perceived safety of institutionalization over the freedoms of individuation. As a society, we prefer to live under the wing of government and corporation rather than spread our own wings and take flight on our own. . .” – E I Smith

individualsEthan Indigo Smith – I recently left the steadiness of California to embark on a continental book tour. I, like any writer I suppose, have untapped reservoirs of hope rooted in the conviction that I can change the world, so I left the mountains, my friends – everything I’ve known for many years – in a van packed with only the most basic sustenance – food, books and a sweet but demanding canine.

Traveling across the country offers a unique observation point into society’s wells and ills. And from this new liberating perspective, as an outside observer, it soon became apparent that we have essentially become a culture based on ideals and practices of separation.

No matter where I go, I first see the gold in everyone. I acknowledge and greet the people I see and I have met some of the most beautiful people just by being open in this way. But what astonishes me is how frequently I have reached out to people with two and even three simple, friendly greetings — only to be ignored. It is as if these people are afraid to engage, going to extreme lengths – even denying my very existence – to retain their sense of separation.

Living for the City

Part of my reason for taking off on the road was to personally communicate with individuals; to engage with people about my books on a tertiary level, but more importantly, to share ideas about human consciousness and the environmental degradation of nuclear experimentation (two interrelated topics I have written about extensively). Ukraine Crisis: Coup, Corruption and Catastrophe [Video]

crisisLuke Rudkowski of WeAreChange.org joins us to discuss the devastation of Ukraine that has been wrought by decades of corruption, colour revolution, debt slavery and war. We talk about how Ukraine arrived at this spot and the possible way forward.

Effects of the crisis

The crisis has had many effects, both domestic and international. According to an October 2014 estimate by the World Bank, the economy of Ukraine contracted by 8% during the year 2014 as a result of the crisis.[36] Economic sanctions imposed on Russia by western nations contributed to the collapse in value of the Russian rouble, and the resulting Russian financial crisis.[37] Continue reading
