To See The Cage Is To Leave It

Aimee Gordon – The one undeniable experience that I believe everyone on Earth is having right now is that of immense change. Time seems to be speeding up, cataclysms are erupting and destabilizing communities, economies are crashing and wars are erupting. Fear is prevalent, but why then do I feel this overriding current of intense love, truth and harmony? This change, I feel most viscerally, is certainly beautiful – albeit a change that is the product of a period of much upheaval.

My reason for writing this article is most definitely not to focus on the bad stuff that is happening on this planet. I don’t want to spend time identifying the people who cause the bad events and discuss theories that pertain to the “end” of the human race and the various other speculations that are becoming such voraciously consumed trends in the alternative information arena. I believe we should all be questioning any mainstream source of information. Not because it is aspirational to be ‘anti-establishment’ (although blindly following the herd is equally undesirable), but because there are so many roads to ‘truth’, and true knowledge can’t be acquired by merely trusting a single source of information (mainstream-media as a single entity in its entirety). A Last Quarter Summing Up of Intensity

Saturday evening’s Last Quarter Moon, taking place late night further east, or early on Sunday morning in Europe, is an interesting one, following as it does the intensity of the two very potent eclipses of late March and early April. This final major phase therefore represents a erissumming up of the intensity of these earlier lunations in the cycle, and traditionally for this phase also a noteworthy alteration in point of view, which Rudhyar called a “crisis in consciousness.” This shift in perception is based upon successfully digesting the experiences of the previous three weeks of the lunation cycle thus far. Additionally, this configuration places the Moon in Pluto‘s current sign of Capricorn with the Sun in square, in Aries, the sign Uranus occupies. The Sun there also conjuncts Eris, the planet beyond Pluto, one degree away.

This new planetary energy, which according to my own research represents an astrological archetype that can be termed a Spiritual Warrior for Soul Purpose, speaks to standing up for one’s inner calling, that task that you can recognize that you have come into this lifetime to fulfill. This is thus an important and powerful emerging archetype for these times that we are currently living through. This Last Quarter Moon comes after the significant moment of last month’s final collision of the planetary archetypes of Uranus and Pluto this decade, the seventh exact hit out of seven, a series that began in June of 2012. This important lunation also follows the station to direct motion of Jupiter, in aspect to both ends of their square alignment.

Enlightenment – Becoming All That You Are

Dr. Itai Ivtzan – Enlightenment. The E word. The state of consciousness all spiritual seekers hope for. And yet wishing for enlightenment is a wonderfully paradoxical experience: craving the state of non-craving, trying for effortlessness. There is something fascinating about this conflict between “wanting” and the way it nullifies the state of enlightenment. And yet enlightenment is achievable, and it is much closer to us than we might imagine.

To realise how we could achieve it, we need to begin with an understanding of what is enlightenment. The concept of spiritual enlightenment is among the spiritual concepts that are most frequently contemplated, and often awakens controversy. An enlightened way of being represents the essence of spiritual transcendence. It means living a life in which analysis by the mind is continuously transcended, evading any interference. An enlightened existence means oneness with experiences, devoid of any duality, where the self is known to be an illusion, and life is experienced completely independently of it.

This state has been given different names. It is referred to, for example, as the state of Nirvana, Unity Consciousness, Samadhi, Awakening, and Enlightenment. Whatever name is used, what matters is that it is regarded as a state of freedom from the tyranny of the mind and the illusion of the self. Continue reading →

Is Science Finally Catching Up To What the Ancients Knew About Crystals?

Kelly Neff – Despite the plethora of anecdotal evidence that exists on the healing powers of stones and crystals, the debate continues to rage in the scientific community over whether crystals actually have any real healing power. For example, a basic internet search reveals many articles claiming crystal healing to be pseudoscience. In fact, one recent study argues that crystals have absolutely no healing power and that the placebo effect accounts for people’s healing experiences with them.

As a trained research scientist, I am naturally critical and curious about everything in my life. Despite having a fascination with rocks and crystals in childhood, I forgot about them and was drawn away from them during my time in school and doctoral training. Then in my late 20?s, during a highly tumultuous time in my life, I began meditating, and during my meditations I began to see visions of crystals. I didn’t know why, but I wanted to touch them and hold them. But I brushed it aside, still new to listening to my intuition, and figured I was just having random hallucinations.

About six months later my boyfriend Jimmy Ohm took me to a crystal healing course taught by a Reiki Master, Thao Le, who walked us through a bunch of different stones, allowing us to hold them and perceive their energies. In what was very much a “blind” experiment, I found that even with my eyes closed, I could feel how each stone was different, and how it resonated and vibrated in my hand. Ann Albers ~ Messages From The Angels

Most of you can barely comprehend the love we have for you in the heavens. You have learned about conditional love, love based on merit, or earning approval, but our love has nothing to do with these things. We love you because we know who you are in your deepest and truest being.

loveWhen you think you’ve make a “mistake,” we know you have an opportunity for growth. You made a choice that led to an undesirable outcome and now you can create differently. When you are less than loving we know you’re frustrated because you don’t yet know how to be loving in certain situations. We can see only truth dear ones. We look beneath the surface and see the beautiful light and innocence in your hearts, always trying to emerge.

If you were to plant a seed, would you say to yourself, “I see only the hard shell. I see the seed buried beneath the dirt,” or would you instead plant that seed and envision it growing into the flower or plant contained within it. Most of you would say, “Yes, I see the shell. I see the dirt. But I also see the beautiful blossoming of that flower that this seed will grow into. I envision the tasty vegetables or fruits that will come from the plant that this seed blossoms into. I see not only the tiny reality in front of me, but the vast and beautiful fullness within.
