And The Universe Said

heartsMaureen Moss – As always, I pray you are well. And so it is that Mercury has passed the retrograde baton to Pluto until days before the final lunar eclipse on September 24, 2015, provoking within us further deep changes and challenges at a fundamental level. As a result of Pluto in retrograde we are given deeper initiations to propel us to the forefront of our lives and to remain undaunted in the temple of neutrality, the zero point and point of balance in the center of our hearts.

When it was written through me, “as we are given deeper initiations to propel us to the forefront of our lives and remain undaunted in the temple of neutrality in the center of our hearts,” I said out loud to the Universe, “do you realize how long we have been going through initiations and digging, even clawing our way to the center of our hearts?”

“Do you realize how many times we’ve been put on notice that during this time and through this period of deeper initiations, we will move forward with unbeknownst speed into a world of understanding and be presented with opportunities that will grant us sovereignty and freedom?”

“Do you realize how deeply we have submerged ourselves to uncover and release issues that aren’t even ours and issues that are, (or at least that’s what the mind would have us believing)?” Continue reading

Collapse: Loss Of Faith In Public Institutions

institutionsCharles Hugh Smith – Though we may think of collapse in terms of ATMs not working and rampaging mobs, collapse actually starts with the intangible loss of faith in public institutions: elected officials, law enforcement, the justice system and the agencies of financial regulation (anti-trust, etc.).

Unsurprisingly to those who discern the structural rot of the status quo, Americans No Longer Believe In Their Institutions:

“Americans’ confidence in most major U.S. institutions remains below the historical average for each one,” a Gallup spokesman said in a news release. All in all, it’s a picture of a nation discouraged about its present and worried about its future, and highly doubtful that its institutions can pull America out of its trough.

Only 8 percent have confidence in Congress, the lowest of all institutions rated. No wonder, given the Congressional credo that we have to pass this bill to find out what’s in it.The latest monstrosity that is cloaked in secrecy and mumbo-jumbo is the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which Ellen Brown rightly describes as Straight out of Alice in Wonderland:

The terms of the TPP and the TiSA are so secret that drafts of the negotiations are to remain classified for four years or five years, respectively, after the deals have been passed into law. How can laws be enforced against people and governments who are not allowed to know what was negotiated?

If the Trans-Pacific Partnership is so good for the average American, then why not let us read it and be persuaded by the document itself? Instead, the vast machinery of the American central state is devoted to maintaining the secrecy of the bill and crushing all opposition with threats that are no longer even veiled.

One of the 39 senators who voted against the TPP, Jeff Sessions, concluded  “They Won The Vote, But Lost The Trust Of The American People” Continue reading

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Month: “the music of the spheres”

Today’s energy is arranged to offer us an opening or opportunity while also providing what is needed for the adventure.

This manifests through situations, circumstances, and things that are changing. When things change, many feelings emerge. Feelings of grief or loss about the past, fears about security and survival, and deep disappointment can arise. We wonder what will become of us.

The Sun is located at the degree of the Sabian symbol “gamebirds feathering their nests.” Under this energetic, we make preparations and make things stronger and more comfortable.. We make and take sanctuary. We prepare for new life. Continue reading

King v. Burwell Decision Changes Nothing For Obamacare Repeal

courtJim DeMint – This morning, the Supreme Court handed down a decision in the case of King v. Burwell which maintains, contrary to the plain language of the law, subsidies are available to those who purchase insurance through federal health insurance exchanges set up for states which opted not to create their own. This doesn’t change the responsibility of Congress to repeal Obamacare.

Justice Scalia, joined by Justices Thomas and Alito, pointed to the farce of the majority’s ruling at the beginning of their dissent:

The Court holds that when the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act says “Exchange established by the State” it means “Exchange established by the State or the Federal Government.” That is of course quite absurd, and the Court’s 21 pages of explanation make it no less so.

Nevertheless, the White House is quite pleased the court has stepped in to plug yet another “crack in the dam” on behalf of the administration. President Obama proudly proclaimed, “The Affordable Care Act is here to stay.”

Less enthused are the millions of people across the nation paying more for their health insurance because of the laughably misnamed Affordable Care Act, as well as those who wish they could have kept their old plans, as the president falsely assured them they would.

The six justices in the majority—Roberts, Kennedy, Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor and Kagan—relied on the puzzling reasoning that since the overall purpose of the law was to put people into insurance exchanges, a decision which struck down the availability of subsidies for those who purchase insurance through the federal exchanges would be contrary to legislative intent and thus undesirable.

Nobody For President In 2016: Taking The Auction Out Of Election

“If you vote, you have no right to complain.” –George Carlin

votingGary ‘Z’ McGee – First, let’s admit something to ourselves: this is not a representative democracy, like most people think; it’s not even a constitutional republic, like a few people hope. It is masked aristocracy and plutocracy. The aristocracy is wearing a plutocratic mask which is wearing a democratic mask which is wearing the mask of a constitutional republic.

The fact that the average person knows very little about the mechanisms of these systems, nor the meaning of the words used to explain them, is evidence that they are working. The fact that the average person doesn’t realize that elections have been transformed into auctions, is evidence that plutocracy is working. And it’s all working at the expense of “we the people,” at the expense of our environment and precious ecosystems, and at the expense of freedom itself.

To elect means “to choose or make a decision.” The problem is our choices seem to be limited and our decisions seem to be “vote” or “not vote.” This idea is perpetuated by state manipulation, cultural conditioning, and bipartisan political propaganda with corrupt lobbying that creates divisiveness. But there is a third option. We can “elect” to think outside the ballot box. We can “elect” to take money out of politics. We can “elect” to have a complete system reboot, to include, especially, the electoral system. Continue reading
