Philosopher Kings, Rings and Things

ringZen Gardner – In ancient days there were philosopher kings and queens, sages and wise councils who led, or rather encouraged, mankind. They did this by their innate understanding, not by force or decree, but by loving and compassionate empowerment and without hierarchy. They simply pointed the way for humanity to discover its own true self by conscious awakening and the realization of its true potential.

Truly benign and loving sages, shamans and elders who sought the best for humanity.

Sad to say however, those days were usually scuttled by blood thirsty power mongers, as in the days of ancient Greece and other more enlightened civilizations being overthrown by warlords, or as in the cases of the deliberate evisceration of native peoples across the world. No doubt this cycle has been repeated for millennia, even before recorded history.

Memes of these ancient struggles have been passed down through so-called myths and legends, and have often been immortalized by works of art and literature. The Lord of the Rings by Tolkien is one example; part myth, and a large part hidden truth. The Iliad and the Odyssey by Homer, a classic for centuries, is another. Modern culture has repeated these archetypal imprints furiously in an effort to play upon these deeply known truths in the human heart. Unfortunately, it has usually been to fictionalize and distance these great truths in the societal engineers’ efforts to further alienate us from their profound meaning and significance.

The Ring of Truth – Or Power?

It’s interesting how the image of the ring has been so predominant in these ancient and modern stories. The placing of the ring on rulers, be they crowns or literal rings on the hand, has signified some form of generally accepted authority for eons. Continue reading

Criminal Bankers And The Military Industrial Complex

lawKatherine Frisk – Looks to me like nothing has changed. The pieces on the chess board have moved slightly, ever so, but basically they are still the same. And the same story line is in play.

Let’s put it all into some perspective. 2,000 years ago we had a dogmatic and corrupt priesthood with a High Temple Priest in the form of Caiaphas. We had a ruling class, a monarchy, the Herodian Kings who killed their own wives and children, were sexually promiscuous, married their own sisters and murdered anyone who was opposed to them. And we had the Legion. The Roman military industrial complex of the time.

What do we have today? We have a dogmatic priesthood with a Papacy that has, over the last 1,000 years burned millions at the stake who refused to bow to their authority. An Inquisition that is still in place and has not been deconstructed. A priesthood finally exposed for child sex abuse that has been endemic for centuries, and a Pope named Benedict who basks in luxury retirement. The Vatican Bank has defrauded the planet of trillions. Yet they call themselves a Church and market themselves as “Christians.”

According to many sources this is where the tax revenues of nations finally end up. Tax revenues are not used for the benefit of the people who pay them, but for the benefit of the “Catholic” (meaning universal) institution that has designated itself as the owner of the planet, all bodies on the planet and all souls.

All roads lead to Rome

According to one recent commentator, the President of the United States takes instruction from the Vatican and in return is given a billion dollar Vatican account, all untraceable of course. The minions are none the wiser.

The money lenders in the Temple who Yeshua whipped – thus sealing his fate on the cross – continue their criminal usury system, turning the world into debt slaves through the Zionist Bankers, the World Bank and the IMF. According to some Goldman Sachs owns the world. Rothschild is said to be the Vatican’s banker and in the catacombs of this audacious structure are buried gold bars and treasure stolen from nations around the world. Continue reading

Gibbous Moon in Sagittarius: trust, magic

Goddess of Wisdom: Bagalamukhi (Goddess Who Solves)

God of Will: Ian (God of The East)

Skill: open to possibilities; watch and listen

True Alignments: goodwill toward all, collaboration and team efforts, choosing things that nurture the mind/body/soul over things that degrade them, ability to mend a fence or get along with or cooperate with someone with whom we usually have difficulty, shared thoughts (literally having the same thought as another – the source field is ripe), things beginning to take shape, massive potential

Catalysts for Change: chasing impossible standards and missing out on life in the process, shutting oneself away, needing to share but having no one to tell (journal or write it down as an alternative), feeling that things are unsteady (they aren’t), adjustment difficulties, alienation, seeing another point of view, gruff or angry approach, denial

Sabian Symbol for the Lunar Month: “winter frost in the woods”

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Year: “the music of the spheres”

The music of the spheres erupts with the herald of divine messages today!

Leading Scientists Believe Up To Half Of Research-Based Literature Is Simply Untrue

researchCarolanne Wright – In a perfect world, research science would have unlimited funding, free from corporations or special interest groups, where all studies would be truly objective and unbiased. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case. Financing by private companies, or those who have a vested interest in the outcome of the research, often leads to biased conclusions which favor the sponsor of the study.

Take for example a pharmaceutical company paying for a new drug to treat depression. When the track record of such research is examined, we find studies backed by the pharmaceutical industry tend to show partiality toward the drug under consideration, whereas research sponsored by government grants or charitable organizations is prone to draw more objective conclusions.¹

In a similar fashion, research financed by the food industry often favors the food under investigation compared to inquiries that are independently sponsored.²

Bad research science

“Everyone should know that most cancer research is largely a fraud, and that the major cancer research organizations are derelict in their duties to the people who support them.”³ ~ Linus Pauling, PhD, and two-time Nobel Prize winner. Continue reading

Greece, Democracy And Magical Thinking

magicalCharles Hugh Smith – What is representative democracy but organized bribery on a mass scale? Politicians seeking control of the spigots of state wealth and power promise endless swag to voters. Those who promise the most swag and do so with the most inspirational Soaring Rhetoric ™ win elections and gain control of the spigots of state wealth and power.

What are promises of endless swag but lies cloaked in magical thinking? The magical thinking has many manifestations: the aptly named Laffer Curve, used to justify cutting taxes to the already-wealthy; entry into the Eurozone, a magical land of unicorns and endless prosperity, based not on hard work and the creation of value, but on membership alone; the blowing of serial asset bubbles in real estate and stocks (works equally well in Asia and the West), and various iterations of Manifest Destiny: it’s our right to grow rich, preferably on the labor and resources of others.

Representative democracy offers choices with no consequences: no matter which politico and party is elected, the promises of endless swag remain unchanged.

In contrast, direct democracy offers choices with consequences: voters make a choice of policies that, whether intended or not, have consequences.

This forces voters to actually ponder consequences rather than indulge politico promises of endless swag in return for supporting a corrupt, predatory, parasitic status quo that benefits the few at the expense of the many.

Even direct democracy is easily corrupted by magical thinking. The actual consequences may be ignored in favor of magical-thinking dreams of only good consequences and no trade-offs or sacrifices, all powered by the magic of debt. Continue reading
