Veterans Join Standing Rock Resistance

standing rockAlexandra Bruce – The developments near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation have received scant coverage in the corporate news media since they began early last April. They were not spoken of at all by the two leading Presidential contenders throughout the race. This story now looks as if it’s about to jump into the forefront of the upcoming news cycles, as it’s getting more and more interesting by the hour.

There’s a growing movement of unarmed US military veterans who’ve been arriving in North Dakota, to peacefully support the “Water Protectors”. The latter are members of the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation, who set up camp in the path of the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL), in protest of its construction. The $3.8 billion pipeline would cross the Missouri River, just upstream from the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation. The tribe says that the pipeline would interrupt sacred lands and could contaminate their only source of drinking water, if it ruptures.

The protesters have faced an excessive militarized police response, including:

  • Mace
  • sound cannons
  • sniper guns pointed at unarmed civilians
  • journalists being shot with rubber bullets or arrested for covering the protests
  • attack dogs unleashed on groups- including children
  • elder Natives getting tased and violently arrested
  • protesters marked with numbers and kept in dog kennels after arrest

The military veterans already there will soon be joined on December 4th by an organized contingent called Veterans Stand for Standing Rock, which includes high-profile progressive activists who have served in the military, including US Congressman Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) and Baltimore police officer-turned police brutality whistleblower Michael A. Wood, Jr.

Did The BBC Get Caught Fabricating News To Start A War?

What follows is shocking evidence that crisis actors, green screens, CGI, and paid propagandists are being used to fake worldwide events in order to scare people into giving up liberties and sending us into war. To say this was shocking would be to put it lightly.

From video proof showing “dead soldiers” killed by “chemical weapons” walking around after they thought the videos stopped recording, to digitally altering sounds to add in “explosions” that never happened, this segment demonstrates some of the most damming evidence against the media ever shown on television.

Armstrong continues… “This is a serious issue for the press is conspiring against the people to create war, sell climate change, and rig elections. This is by no means something new.”

They taught me in high school history class about how the press started the Spanish-American War by reporting that the Spanish attacked a US ship, which never happened.

Rep. Tom Price, selected by Donald Trump for HHS Secretary, voted for the DARK Act

priceMike Adams – This morning, President elect Donald Trump announced his pick for Secretary of Health and Human Services: Rep. Tom Price, a Republican from Georgia.

Before serving in Congress, Price was an orthopedic surgeon, and he’s well known for being a strong, vocal critic of the Obamacare fiasco (Affordable Care Act).

“He is exceptionally qualified to shepherd our commitment to repeal and replace Obamacare and bring affordable and accessible healthcare to every American,” announced Donald Trump.

Sadly, Tom Price is also among the many Republicans who voted for the so-called “DARK Act,” a bill that outlawed state-level mandatory GMO labeling laws like the one passed in Vermont. Mike Pompeo, a Republican from Kansas, also voted for the DARK Act, and he has already been appointed by Donald Trump to head the CIA.

A vote in favor of the DARK Act means a vote against consumer transparency about what they’re buying and eating in their food. It’s a red flag against both Tom Price and Mike Pompeo, as it indicates they have both functioned as part of the “Monsanto establishment” that has long sought to keep people in the dark while feeding them unlabeled GMOs. The question on everyone’s mind is: Will these two individuals now represent the People, or are they still bought off by Monsanto?

What’s my take on this? We all know that Monsanto has infiltrated every establishment and political party in America. It’s almost impossible to find anyone in a position of regulatory or legislative authority who hasn’t already been influenced, threatened or bought out by the deeply corrupt biotech industry. The overreach of corporatism in America is systemic and insidious.

The Tyranny at Standing Rock

It’s one of the oldest military strategies in the books, and it’s proven to be the police state’s most effective weapon for maintaining the status quo.

How do you conquer a nation?

Distract them with football games, political circuses and Black Friday sales. Keep them focused on their differences—economic, religious, environmental, political, racial—so they can never agree on anything. And then, when they’re so divided that they are incapable of joining forces against a common threat, start picking them off one by one.

What we’re witnessing at Standing Rock, where activists have gathered to protest the Dakota Access Pipeline construction on Native American land, is just the latest incarnation of the government’s battle plan for stamping out any sparks of resistance and keeping the populace under control: battlefield tactics, military weaponry and a complete suspension of the Constitution.

Militarized police. Riot and camouflage gear. Armored vehicles. Mass arrests. Pepper spray. Tear gas. Batons. Strip searches. Drones. Less-than-lethal weapons unleashed with deadly force. Rubber bullets. Water cannons. Concussion grenades. Arrests of journalists. Intimidation tactics. Brute force.

This is what martial law looks like, when a government disregards constitutional freedoms and imposes its will through military force.

Only this is martial law without any government body having to declare it.

This is martial law packaged as law and order and sold to the public as necessary for keeping the peace.

These overreaching, heavy-handed lessons in how to rule by force have become standard operating procedure for a government that communicates with its citizenry primarily through the language of brutality, intimidation and fear.

What Americans have failed to comprehend is that the police state doesn’t differentiate.
