Ethical Choices College Students Face

collegeGoing to college is a dream come true for many young people. College is not only a good place to invest in one’s future, it is great fun too. However, college life raises many ethical questions that test an individual’s values and beliefs.

Students struggle with issues of plagiarism, sex, drugs, and personal relationships to name a few. How they respond determines the quality of their college life and even their future. Here are five ethical issues college students face before and after graduation.

1) Applying for College

College students face the first ethical question even before stepping into a college, and it regards their college application. Should they lie? According to the College Board, most students are lying in their applications to increase their chances of admission. The board cites stiff competition for college positions as the reason behind this trend.

It claims that students are lying about their high school achievements or failing to disclose any disciplinary action taken against them. Their parents are not helping either. They are also lying in their admission essays.

2) Academic Misconduct

Shifts In Consciousness We Are Experiencing Right Now

energyMichael Forrester – Absolutely everything is a wave of energy and there are many new energies taking place on Earth. We’ve shifted consciousness, but we’re still using old reflections to create our reality. Abundance in all aspects of life is now much easier to achieve in the new vibration and a confidence in our abilities will soon magnify to great levels in the coming years. There will be some obstacles and challenges ahead, but know that the following shifts in our being are happening right now as all humans are born into spiritual wealth without practice.

Vibrating frequencies build a virtual construct that makes you think you are in a physical world, but you are not. You are in a holographic universe which is an illusion so well designed, that only the highest beings of light can see it for what it is. This is your destiny, but now you will continue to play this game called Earth at a level never played before. You are still playing with three dimensional rules in a fifth dimensional world, but you’re quickly learning how to make the transition by shifting energy.

Think about all the areas of wellness, whether they be physical, mental, social, lifestyle, morals, the spiritual aspects of life (e.g. new age, Western religion, Eastern spirituality)…they are all enveloped and affected by energy. How you think, feel and act is all energetic.

Right or wrong, black and white, good and bad don’t really exist, but we still need the duality to continue the game in its current form. You will soon discover that everything is a shade of grey.

A Mystical and Changeful Month of December

Henry Selturanuszer – The astrology of December features Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Eris. All the outer planets are strongly represented in the New Moon and Full Moon configurations, so that, as the month continues to unfold, our awareness is bound to increase regarding the transformational intensity of these times, and our part in fulfilling them in accordance with our own unique destiny.

With powerfully transformational Pluto, and also the numinousity of Neptune, greatly emphasized in the Sagittarius New Moon configuration from the 29th of the previous month, we are struggling to define for ourselves our own position, and as we do so we are taking spiritual values, that which is beyond and actually in support of the physical world, more firmly into account.

The massive structural changes of the 21st century are gaining in momentum in this mid-decade timing, and it is difficult to know exactly how to respond. A clue is found however in the strong presence of the new planet beyond Pluto, namely Eris, which represents a spiritual warrior energy for being nothing but ourselves, at all costs. The implication is that if we know who we are at the deepest levels of our being, and are able to act on that knowledge, nothing that comes along in the outer world can disturb this fundamental sense of ourselves.

NWO Gatekeepers Heading for “Marie Antoinette Moment”

liberalJames Corbett – In a surprising moment of self-awareness, Wolfgang Münchau just published an editorial in the Financial Times comparing the gatekeepers of the “global liberal order” (the FT included) to Marie Antoinette and the House of Bourbon, blindly “let them eat cake”ing their way toward their own guillotine.

Münchau knows of what he speaks; as associate editor of the Financial Times he is in the unenviable position of acting as the spokesman for the banksters ensconced in the City of London. And in case you haven’t noticed, the banksters aren’t exactly the most popular people in the world right now. But don’t take my word for it, take his:

“Some revolutions could have been avoided if the old guard had only refrained from provocation. There is no proof of a ‘let them eat cake’ incident. But this is the kind of thing Marie Antoinette could have said. It rings true. The Bourbons were hard to beat as the quintessential out-of-touch establishment.

“They have competition now.

“Our global liberal democratic establishment is behaving in much the same way. At a time when Britain has voted to leave the EU, when Donald Trump has been elected US president, and Marine Le Pen is marching towards the Elysée Palace, we — the gatekeepers of the global liberal order — keep on doubling down.”

Now I think we all understand what is happening here: A demoralized and disoriented would-be ruling class, reeling from the fact that they are no longer able to control the narrative that shapes public perception of the world, is looking to re-legitimize themselves by re-connecting with the public.

Populist-nationalist tide rolls on

presidentPatrick J. BuchananNow that the British have voted to secede from the European Union and America has chosen a president who has never before held public office, the French appear to be following suit.

In Sunday’s runoff to choose a candidate to face Marine Le Pen of the National Front in next spring’s presidential election, the center-right Republicans chose Francois Fillon in a landslide.

While Fillon sees Margaret Thatcher as a role model in fiscal policy, he is a socially conservative Catholic who supports family values, wants to confront Islamist extremism, control immigration, restore France’s historic identity and end sanctions on Russia.

“Russia poses no threat to the West,” says Fillon. But if not, the question arises, why NATO? Why are U.S. troops in Europe?

As Le Pen is favored to win the first round of the presidential election and Fillon the second in May, closer Paris-Putin ties seem certain. Europeans themselves are pulling Russia back into Europe, and separating from the Americans.

Next Sunday, Italy holds a referendum on constitutional reforms backed by Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. If the referendum, trailing in the polls, fails, says Renzi, he will resign.

Opposing Renzi is the secessionist Northern League, the Five Star Movement of former comedian Beppe Grillo, and the Forza Italia of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, a pal of Putin’s.

“Up to eight of Italy’s troubled banks risk failure,” if Renzi’s government falls, says the Financial Times. One week from today, the front pages of the Western press could be splashing the newest crisis of the EU.

In Holland, the Party for Freedom of Geert Wilders, on trial for hate speech for urging fewer Moroccan immigrants, is running first or close to it in polls for the national election next March.

Meanwhile, the door to the EU appears to be closing for Muslim Turkey, as the European Parliament voted to end accession talks with Ankara and its autocratic president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In welcoming Muslim immigrants, Germany’s Angela Merkel no longer speaks for Europe, even as she is about to lose her greatest ally, Barack Obama.
