An Astronomy Picture of the Day interactive widget allows you to explore the relative size of things in the Universe from  the Planck length (the shortest possible quantum mechanical distance, at 10^-48 meters – a dot followed by 47 zeroes and a 1) to the size of the known Universe at 10²⁷ meters (1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 meters).

Flash widget requires Adobe Flash to work. (Doesn’t work on IPads or IPhones)
