“JERUSALEM (JTA) — U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham said in Jerusalem that the Senate will vote on an Iran sanctions bill next month…Graham told Netanyahu that ‘the Congress will follow your lead’ and will want to have a say about any final deal.”
Since when did the US Congress “follow the lead” of a foreign head of state who loathes – and is loathed by – the President of the United States? Lindsey Graham should stay in Israel and run for the Knesset. If he attempts to return to the USA, he should be arrested, tried, and hanged
US lawmakers ‘bought and paid for’ by Israel lobby: Scholar Press TV
Many US lawmakers are “bought and paid for” by the powerful pro-Israel lobby which cares more about Israel than the United States, an American scholar and journalist in Wisconsin says.
“The Israel lobby is giving orders to its paid stooges and traitors, like (US Senator) Lindsey Graham, who care more about Israel than America, telling them to go out and attack Iran,” said Dr. Kevin Barrett, one of America’s best-known critics of the “War on Terror.”
“It’s embarrassing to be an American today with these clowns and stooges in Congress like Lindsey Graham selling out their country for a hostile foreign power, Israel,” Barrett told Press TV on Saturday.
Graham, a Republican senator from South Carolina, recently described Iran’s nuclear energy program as the “biggest threat to the world.”
“The Iranian nuclear ambitions are the biggest threat to the world in general,” the Republican senator from South Carolina said during an interview published Friday by the Israeli media outlet Israel Hayom.
One of the leading foreign policy hawks and interventionists in Congress, Graham tried to please the powerful pro-Israel lobby in the US by stating that Congress will “push for measures to make sure that the Iranian nuclear negotiations are handled properly.”
“Israel needs to be reassured that Congress will be there in an appropriate way,” the GOP senator said.
“So many in US Congress like Lindsey Graham are essentially bought and paid for by the Israel lobby and their mission is to try to turn US power against the enemies of Israel,” Barrett concluded.
