Air pollution and smog – what you need to know

air pollutionWhat does air pollution really mean? The threat to the environment and our health – undoubtedly. However, its components can be very different, and understanding them is the key to an effective fight for change. Let’s take a closer look at air pollution, forming its definition and analysing the impact of its elements on human health.

The problem of air pollution is complex – that’s why there is no universal way to solve it. Before creating the strategy to fight it, the regions should break their own cases down in order to find reasons behind the worsening air quality. Only this way, the steps taken to fight air pollution can bring long-term improvement.

Smog vs. air pollution – is it the same thing?

Air pollution is often considered a synonym of smog, but that’s not entirely true. Smog is a result of air pollution and appears under specific conditions. It’s concentrated, and thus, visible and perceptible, whereas that’s not always the case with the polluting particles. Continue reading

How Olive Oil Can Protect You From Air Pollution

“[E]xtra-virgin olive oil contains large amounts of antioxidant chemicals, including the two most researched antioxidants: hydroxytyrosol and oleuropein. These chemicals keep the blood thinner and prevent clotting. They also cause a release of nitric oxide inside the artery, which causes relaxation of the arterial wall and improvement in blood flow.” ~Dr. McLaughlin

OliveOilI consume extra-virgin olive oil almost on a daily basis, because I understand the importance of including this valuable source of omega-9 fats in my diet.

Olive oil has been widely researched and the findings have clearly shown that the intake of olive oil can lower your risk of developing heart disease, stroke, dementia, and some forms of cancer, and can improve your life expectancy.

Adding to this list, recent research has also indicated that by including olive oil in your diet, you may be able to ward off the harmful effects of air pollution. In the U.S., Canada, and other parts of the over-populated globe, air quality continues to be a very problematic issue, causing premature heart disease, lung disease, and death in thousands of unsuspecting people.

Unfortunately, the particulate matter in the air from pollution emitted by coal generators and vehicles can damage the sensitive endothelial linings of your arteries, leading to premature atherosclerosis. Continue reading

The EPA Furthers The Carbon Tax Agenda With Deadly Human Experiments

NutritionalAnarchy  April 3 2014

DieselExhaustCollectedFromIdlingTruckOur friends and protectors at the Environmental Deception Protection Agency are so adamant about protecting us from air pollution that they are conducting dangerous experiments on human beings, some of them children.

Just to emphasize the importance of your soon-to-be-due carbon taxes, the EPA exposed vulnerable members of our population to deadly pollutants: the elderly, people with chronic health problems, and children.  What’s more – they never warned those participating in the study that the toxins they would be exposed to carried with them the risk of cancer and death.

Victims Participants were exposed to diesel exhaust particulates.  One study was called ”Asthma in Susceptible Children”.  Here are some pictures that show the process of the experiment.

The website JunkScience.com first called out the EPA for their unethical experiments back in February of last year, when the EPA scrubbed their site of information regarding the unethical particulate experiment on children. (You can read their report here) This week, JunkScience went even further with their exposure of the twisted experiments:

GuyBreathingInCarbonLet’s see if we can summarize the human experiments scandal.

I have an ongoing effort, along with many others to do battle with the EPA on air pollution research that violates scientific rules on how to prove causation.

Milloy and I found out the EPA was doing human experiments under the radar exposing subjects to what EPA said was lethal and toxic, even carcinogenic air pollution.
