aprilLorna Bevan – April 2019: Reality bites with the first hit of the Saturn/Pluto Conjunction in Capricorn – this will be a steep learning curve in edge walking between two great lines of force and moving way beyond your current comfort zone. During this April/May – as the Saturn/Pluto conjunction moves to only 2 degrees of separation – this powerful cycle of Contraction – with a capital C – starts to be felt and experienced at all levels – individually and collectively, emotionally, psychologically, materially and physically. This month Saturn is at 20 degrees Capricorn with Pluto conjunct the South Node of Fate at 23 degrees.

This is a time of pure karma and pure possibility as the old, the atrophied and the akashic dross is eliminated, when the Universal Law of Gravity makes itself felt. But first you need the Will and desire to make radical permanent changes instead of tinkering at the edges. An old life is going dark. These are new magnetics and new encodements. April – A Month of Recovery, Recognition, and Transformation

aprilHenry Seltzer – This current month of April is in many ways a continuation of the intense transformational thrust of the previous thirty-one days of March, although Mercury is now in direct motion, and slowly recovering.

The first few days will feel very much like Mercury never even turned around, because of a unique circumstance: in the waning days of the previous month, Mercury stationed just ahead of mystical and otherworldly Neptune, so that a forming conjunction immediately took place. This dynamic aspect, with Mercury still slow-moving, stays partile or same-degree all the way through the third of April.

We will see further evidence of vague ungroundedness, idealism and illusion, and questioned perceptions. Then, two days later, the Aries New Moon makes close aspects with Neptune, including the Sun being contra-parallel to Neptune within one tenth of a degree. The first week of April is therefore likely to be a quite confusing time.

Spiritual Warriors With Blankets to Darn

Sarah Varcas –  April begins as the recent eclipse season comes to a close. This may cue a sigh of relief for some, even though eclipses continue to resonate through our lives for several months. Last month was fairly intense and may have left us feeling somewhat battle worn! The challenges to our sense of self and personal autonomy may have felt harsh and left us wondering whether there’s any real hope of change or just more of the same old struggles in different packaging! Thankfully the second half of April provides ample opportunity to refresh and regroup, offering inner space in which to consider where we go from here.

Prior to that, however, there are some powerful forces to reckon with as the Sun crosses the brewing Uranus/Eris conjunction in Aries, between 6th and 15th April. Impatience may rule the day and old frustrations rise up unbidden. Whatever the surface issues may be, this conjunction of the Sun with two disruptive forces (and squared by Pluto for good measure!) augurs the upwelling of ancestral and collective pain which may overwhelm our everyday experience, super-charging our reactions and unleashing powerful emotions out of proportion to the matter at hand. The Uranus/Eris conjunction is releasing from the collective psyche repressed pain and issues ignored for too long by too many. We are the conduits for those feelings and are all beholden to find the highest and wisest way to channel them for good.
