Balsamic Moon in Sagittarius/Capricorn 7:45 pm ET/12:45 am UT): release, dream

Aspect of the Aeon Sophia (Wisdom): Kali, Goddess of Endings and Beginnings

Aspect of the Aeon Thelete (Will/Desire): Seth, God of the North, God of Enlightenment

Higher Octaves of the Day’s Energies: giving thanks, group and team efforts, observant, rewards, leadership, clearing, inner home fire, adjusting to changes, solutions and resolutions, plentiful, colorful

Lower Octaves of the Day’s Energies: bossy, poor timing, controlling, taking advantage through authority that has been entrusted, indecisive, immobilized, feeling of defeat, triggers of trauma, blocking

Sabian Symbol for the Lunar Month: “a hidden choir singing during a religious service” (unseen assistance)

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Year: “the music of the spheres” (recalibration of consciousness)

The Balsamic phase of the Moon begins today. This is the time of the lunar cycle that is creative, dreamy, and mystical. The phase is not exactly part of the ending lunar month. It is a transition time. It is the time when the “veils between the worlds are thinnest.”

Perhaps the “hidden choir” will be seen.

The energetics of Balsamic phases certainly provide the closest “contact” or “connection” with Spirit, so we may very well see manifestation of some sort of blessing as we approach the New Moon in Aquarius (Monday, February 8, 2016). Continue reading

pathBalsamic Moon in Libra/Scorpio 11:02 pm ET/Tuesday 4:02 am UT: release, dream

Goddess of Wisdom: Kali – Goddess of Endings and Beginnings

God of Will/Desire: Elias – God of the West, God of Transformation and Alchemy

Skill: watch for a path, opening, or opportunity

True Alignments: cleaning and clearing, new habits, rewards coming from concerted efforts over time, sustainability, innovation, learning from “errors” or experiences and discovering something, infusion of nature’s healing power, preparation, going back to basics when confounded, tradition honored, patience, trying new combinations, past life memories surface

Catalysts for Change: pretense, obfuscation, too late, failing to value the amount of time or experience one has, hanging on to what is outworn, leaving messes for others to clean up, impatience, locked in, holding things in, something becoming seen as pointless, seeing what has built up around things, lashing out at others

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Month: “a Jewish rabbi performing his duties”

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Year: “the music of the spheres”

The Balsamic Moon phase, the time of the lunar month when the “veils between the worlds” is thinnest, continues today with energetics that highlight:

Paths, Changes, and New Ways: The Sun discharges the luxurious energy of “a path through the woods rich in autumn coloring.” “Harvest” or the time of “reaping” is at hand in the image. This symbol always implies changes and a time of shift. Our journey through life today offers colorful experiences, with a path to lead the way. The more we can “open” up, the better the results. An adventure to gain wisdom is available to everyone, if we can see it as such. Continue reading

energyBalsamic Moon in Leo/Virgo (3:50 pm ET/7:50 pm UT): release, dream

Goddess of Wisdom: All- led by Shodashi, Goddess of Beauty and Form, Goddess Who Fulfills the Highest and Best

God of Will/Desire: Kathe, God of the South, God of Waves

Skill: “first responding” by maintaining emotional, mental, physical, and SPIRITUAL equilibrium

True Alignments: solid ground, adapting as situations change, seeing the truth, originality, making plans for the future, guidance and protection, unseen assistance, repairing things, performing a higher service, accomplishments, open minded, revelry, connection with nature, heightened intuition, messages about direction

Catalysts for Change: people and things coming undone, cat and mouse games, control dynamics, fears about safety and security, over-idealizing people, washed or wiped out, not taking personal responsibility, frozen in place, not seeing clearly, confusion, lost in fantasy or illusion, making excuses, emotionally overwhelmed, self-sabotage, manipulation of banking and finances, vain

Sabian Symbol for the Lunar Month: “a girls basketball team” (unifying)

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Year: “the music of the spheres” (re-tuning or re-calibration of consciousness)

The watery Balsamic Moon phase, the last phase of the lunar month, has begun and the energy comes in like a tidal wave.

A major force behind the tidal wave today is the Sun washing in the energy of 16 Libra and the Sabian symbol “after a storm, a boat landing stands in need of reconstruction.” Things deconstruct under this dynamic (particularly emotions). Then they reconstruct, but in a different way than they were originally. So we understand that what we see, feel, hear, and experience today will undergo mutation or transformation before it is finished. We will not become attached to one thing or way or feeling. timeBalsamic Moon in Virgo: trust, magic

Goddess of Wisdom: Bhairavi (Goddess Who Fortifies the Heart)

God of Will/Desire: Kathe (God of the South)

Skill: “de-personalize and re-universalize”

(Note: I will post a separate Sunday report tomorrow. A “campfire” recording may also be on its way. The standard headings of True Alignments, etc. are not listed today, as there is only one focus of consequence. See below.)

The “100 Hours” of the Balsamic Moon comes to a close today. The Virgo New Moon enters at the following times:

  • Universal Time: Sunday, September 13, 2015 6:41 Am
  • Eastern Time: Sunday, September 13, 2015 2:41 Am
  • Pacific Time: Saturday, September 12, 2015 11:41 Pm

Until that time — today — there is only one thing to “do,” but it is perhaps one of the hardest things to do: step outside of ourselves and connect with something greater. This means we de-focus on our personal/individual lives and re-focus on the fellowship of humanity.

It is the job of wise owls to, as best we can, de-personalize pretty much everything that comes our way today. Though things happen in our lives, oftentimes dramatic and deeply emotional things, today it is important that we not become mired in ourselves, project ourselves, react to others, succumb to wounding, or pontificate on the goings-on of our personal world.

The Sabian symbol for the Virgo New Moon is “a girls basketball team.” As the saying goes, there is no I in team. Continue reading

lunarBalsamic Moon in Leo: release, clear

Goddess of Wisdom: Dhumavati (Goddess Who Closes and Completes)

God of Will/Desire: Kathe (God of The South)

Skill: release and clear what you do not want to carry forward

Catalysts for Change: showing off/bragging/arrogance, conquests, confused, two faced, selfish/only considering one’s own needs and desires, conformity, trying to maintain the status quo when it no longer is working, gossip, learned helplessness

True Alignments: taking others into account, impressive displays of the heart, making an effort, rewards for hard work, point of observation, hope, living life, compassion, dreams and aspirations, the “ideal” being revealed, seeing beyond the shadows

Sabian Symbol for the Lunar Month: “a woman and two men castaways on a small island in the South Seas” (unity)

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Year: “the music of the spheres”

Today is the last day of the Balsamic Moon phase, the phase where we release any elements (feelings, thoughts, beliefs, etc.) of the past lunar month that we do not want to carry forward into the next lunar month, which begins tomorrow.

One of the good things about following the Moon phases, and thus aligning with natural (nature) cycles, is that it provides a structure or framework for walking through life in conscious connection. Essentially, we walk a Medicine Wheel with the Divine instead of wandering around willy-nilly or floating in space without any sense of patterns and cycles. Following the phases is grounding and purposeful. Continue reading
