Guess Whose House Wasn’t Raided by the FBI

clintonDaniel John Sobieski – If there was any doubt that Robert Mueller’s Ahab-like goal is the unseating of President Trump at all costs and by any means, it was erased by the thuggish FBI raid he orchestrated on the home and office of Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen.

Can’t find any collusion between Trump and Russia?  Hey, why not look for collusion between Cohen and professional whore and porn star Stormy Daniels?  Was she paid to go away with campaign funds?  Even so, that’s an FEC violation punishable by a fine and something that does not require a SWAT team.

It certainly does not compare with money funneled by Team Hillary and the DNC though a law firm to Fusion GPS and British foreign agent Christopher Steele to put together a fake dossier on Trump using Russian sources.  But where were the raids on the offices of the DNC, the Hillary Clinton campaign, and Fusion GPS? FBI Cut Side Deal To Limit Search Of Computers Of Key Clinton Aides And To Allow The Computers To Be Destroyed

computerJonathan Turley – The FBI investigation into the Clinton email scandal seems to grow more questionable by the day.  As I discussed earlier, the five immunity deals handed out by the Justice Department were, in my view, largely unnecessary and undermined the development of any criminal case.  Now, House investigators have learned  that Justice Department officials, in addition to their immunity deals, cut a “side agreement” with Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson for agents to destroy their laptops after searching their hard drives for evidence.  With Congress seeking the information, the side deal clearly would obstruct that investigation and the details of the side agreement make little sense if the FBI were pursuing any and all evidence of criminal conduct.

What is particularly bizarre is that the FBI agreed to limit their search to documents created before Jan. 2015.  That would exclude potential evidence of an ongoing conspiracy or efforts to obstruct the investigations.  The Mills computer, as I have already discussed, should have been handed over given Clinton’s assurance that her staff would cooperate fully. Instead, Clinton and her staff refused to cooperate with the State Department investigation and then Mills refused to turn over her computer until she was given immunity from criminal charges.

Searching For Answers In The Land Of The Immunized

immunityJonathan Turley – Last week, the disclosure of a total of five immunity agreements handed out by the Justice Department as part of its investigation of the Clinton email scandal. The extent of the deals and the recipients were surprising, particularly in the failure to previously disclose those deals.

As a criminal defense lawyer, I was surprised to see the deals include Cheryl Mills, one of the highest officials accused in the deletion of tens of thousands of emails and the failure to heed warnings over the risk to national security from the use of the Clinton private server. Below is the column.

When FBI Director James B. Comey announced that there would be no criminal charges in the Clinton email scandal, there was an outcry by many who saw glaring contradictions, attempts to destroy evidence, and knowing failures to protect classified or sensitive information. At the time, I acknowledged that Comey’s decision was understandable and, while criminal charges might have been possible, this was not out of bounds of prosecutorial discretion. However, the news this week of a previously undisclosed immunity deal with a top Clinton aide raises serious questions over the handling of the FBI investigation.

The latest recipient of an immunity deal from the Justice Department is one of Clinton’s closest aides and a figure at the heart of the email scandal, Cheryl Mills. She joins two other central figures in benefiting from such deals: former State Department staffer, Bryan Pagliano and tech specialist Paul Combetta. In addition to at least two other immunized witnesses according to the Associated Press, they represent the big three of officials involved in the underlying allegations of Clinton’s potential criminal conduct. Their collective immunization is baffling.

189 times! Clinton’s staffer Cheryl Mills says “I don’t recall” at deposition

The Situation

depositionsHillary Clinton’s staff are currently giving depositions under oath about how she got away with having her illegal private email server when conducting matters of national security.

The depositions are being filmed, but Hillary’s lawyers have managed to persuade the judge to block the release of the tapes in case they are used to make her look bad in the election!

This is amazing and unacceptable–that films, showing the truth are being blocked from the American people, especially in the run-up to an election.

The Plan

But we have a way around this. George Orwell described journalism as “something somebody somewhere doesn’t want published.” So we are going to commit a series of acts of journalism.

The deposition transcripts have been released and we are re-enacting and filming highlights of the depositions.

Today we’re releasing a film of Cheryl Mills’ deposition highlights, using the transcript–her actual words. Cheryl Mills has worked for the Clintons for almost 30 years. She was Hillary’s Chief of Staff at the State Department.
