An Age Old Battle: Collectivism Versus Liberty

An Age Old Battle: Collectivism Versus LibertyEthan Indigo Smith – You are in an institution and there are many institutions around you. We all exist in national institutions and are surrounded by institutions within our nation. Institutions exist because of individuals, and yet sometimes become more important in the minds of individuals than other individuals.

When institutions and institutional pursuits become more important than individuals a psychic sickness reveals itself in societal symptoms of monolithic repression up to and including overt war. Continue reading

Liberty or State Control? You Decide

Laraine C. Abbey – President Obama’s statement “giving up some freedom in exchange for security” [1] was a lance through my heart.  Give up freedom for security?? Patrick Henry, of “Give me liberty or give me death” fame, must be rolling over in his grave!  We are losing America.

Love him or hate him, Donald Trump has been the catalyst for a volcanic eruption of raw emotion about all that seems wrong in the governance of our country.  Citizen unrest predates Trump’s electoral campaign but it has acted as a lightning rod that laser-focused on many issues alarming and infuriating Americans.  In “shock and awe” style, ultra-liberal filmmaker and Bernie Sanders supporter Michael Moore had this to say in his “out of context” Ohio theater speech:

Our citizenry has increasingly lost its faith and trust in government following the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks. The Benghazi situation, Middle East wars, banking/financial crisis and housing market mortgage mess have done nothing to support confidence in the powers-that-be.  Leadership has failed us.  We’ve seen millions maimed or killed in these horrific unjust globalist wars.  A call for change is on many lips and given a voice in presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Trump threatens the power structure, while Hillary is the power structure.

The United Nations 2030 Agenda decoded: It’s a blueprint for the global enslavement of humanity under the boot of corporate masters

governmentMike Adams – This week, Michael Snyder published an important article entitled The 2030 Agenda: This Month The UN Launches A Blueprint For A New World Order With The Help Of The Pope.

That article references this UN “2030 Agenda” document that pushes a blueprint for so-called “sustainable development” around the world.

This document describes nothing less than a global government takeover of every nation across the planet. The “goals” of this document are nothing more than code words for a corporate-government fascist agenda that will imprison humanity in a devastating cycle of poverty while enriching the world’s most powerful globalist corporations like Monsanto and DuPont.

In the interests of helping wake up humanity, I’ve decided to translate the 17 points of this 2030 agenda so that readers everywhere can understand what this document is really calling for. To perform this translation, you have to understand how globalists disguise their monopolistic agendas in “feel good” language.

Here’s the point-by-point translation. Notice carefully that nowhere does this document state that “achieving human freedom” is one of its goals. Nor does it explain HOW these goals are to be achieved. As you’ll see here, every single point in this UN agenda is to be achieved through centralized government control and totalitarian mandates that resemble communism.

Translation of the UN’s “2030 Agenda blueprint for globalist government” (controlled by corporate interests)

Goal 1) End poverty in all its forms everywhere

Translation: Put everyone on government welfare, food stamps, housing subsidies and handouts that make them obedient slaves to global government. Never allow people upward mobility to help themselves. Instead, teach mass victimization and obedience to a government that provides monthly “allowance” money for basic essentials like food and medicine. Label it “ending poverty.”

Goal 2) End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture Continue reading

The Clash Between Voluntaryism, Leftism & Multiculturalism [Audio]

connor

Henrik Palmgren – Connor Boyack is the founder and president of Libertas Institute, a free market think tank in Utah. He is the author of several books, including the popular “Tuttle Twins” series for children, teaching kids age 5-10 about the principles of liberty.

Boyack’s most recent book, “Feardom,” is an exposé of how politicians use fearmongering to acquire more power. In this “free market flashback,” Connor outlines his perspective on the leftist tyranny that has infiltrated the US via the federal government, the public education system, and the mainstream media. He explains his political philosophy and vision, which he refers to as “voluntaryism,” where a civil society is governed by cooperation and voluntary participation in contractual agreements.

Why Is Independence So Frightening To Some People?

“The point is, the fight for liberty is not a follower’s game. It is a fight that begins with individuals taking individual measures first and foremost, and if anything, inspiring others through their actions, not demanding fealty for themselves, or their pet strategies.” – B Smith

FollowersIn past articles I have examined the nature of power and division in our society and have always come to the same conclusion, that there are only two types of people: the people who want control over others and the people who just want to be left alone. However, there are also subgroups that swim within the boundaries of each end of the spectrum. Often, psychologists and self-help gurus attempt to promote the idea that the defining quality of the average person’s life is whether he is a follower or a leader. I have seen this spectrum applied to every political and social organization.

Ironically, I have heard so-called “leftists” argue that the nature of their ideology makes them more adept at leadership and that conservatives are more prone to become followers (ostensibly because conservatives tend to be more religious). I have heard the same argument from people on the so-called “right,” only in reverse. The problem is that very few people in our society understand anymore what it actually means to be a leader. Most Americans today are followers, whether they know it or not.  And sadly, followers tend to also seek out control over other people, if only to make up for the lack of control they feel in their own lives.  That is to say, most followers tend to pursue petty opportunities for leadership.

The concept of leadership has become ridiculously warped. Many people feel that to become a leader, one must clamor his way through the system — be it government or corporate — and achieve artificial status, which others are conditioned to recognize and respect. One cannot become a designated “doctor”, no matter how personally skilled the individual, without earning the correct accolades from the establishment, accolades that are essentially bought at the right price or given as a pat on the head to those who excel at parroting the mainstream consensus. The same goes for scientists, economists, political authorities, etc. This creates a professional class, a percentage of the population whose opinions are treated with immediate reverence simply because of their titles.
