60% Of Americans Want A Third Party Candidate For 2016

Americans Are Disgusted By Both Republicans and Democrats

Famed trend forecaster Gerald Celente predicted in 2009 that a third party presidential candidate could win in 2012.

It obviously didn’t  happen.  But could a third party win in 2016?

Poll after poll shows that both mainstream parties are deeply unpopular with the American people.

Poll after poll shows that the American people are disgusted with the core policies of both the mainstream Democrats and Republican parties, which help the fatcats while hurting the little guy.

Polls show that Congress is less popular than dog poop, toenail fungus, hemorrhoids,  cockroaches, lice, root canals, colonoscopies, traffic jams, used car salesmen, Genghis Khan, Communism, North Korea, BP during the Gulf Oil Spill, Nixon during Watergate or King George during the American Revolution.

60% of Americans want to throw all of the bums in Congress – including their own representatives – out in the next election.

The government as a whole doesn’t fare much better. Gallup reports:

Eighteen percent of Americans are satisfied with the way the nation is being governed, down 14 percentage points from the 32% recorded last month before the partial government shutdown began. This is the lowest government satisfaction rating in Gallup’s history of asking the question dating back to 1971.

Trend: Americans' Satisfaction With the Way the Nation Is Being Governed

Why Is Obamacare So Unaffordable?

NaturalNews  September 25 2013

Because It Was Conceived As A Political Weapon Of Mass Economic Destruction

big pharmaRight now, all across America, employees are receiving notices that their insurance coverage is being dropped because it isn’t “compliant” with Obamacare. Simultaneously, employers everywhere are slashing jobs, cutting hours and downsizing their operations just to stay afloat by avoiding the most punishing requirements of Obamacare. Across the economy, Obamacare is devastating American workers and casting tens of millions of people into a state of despair.

Why is Obamacare — the “Affordable Care Act” — so unaffordable? Why is it causing jobs, hours and insurance policies to be gutted all across America? Because it was designed as a political weapon to destroy private sector jobs so that more people would become dependent on government entitlements, food stamps and welfare programs.

Mass victimization is a political strategy, and Obamacare is the weapon

It’s time you learned the truth about Obamacare and how victimization is a political “weapon of mass destruction.” The Democratic party thrives primarily on victimization. The more destitute workers become, the more they demand handouts from politicians, and no party is more willing to widely distribute handouts than the Democratic party. Ensnaring people in a cycle of poverty and dependence is the democrats’ long-term re-election strategy. The more people who live in poverty, in other words, the more powerful the Democrats become.

(In fairness, the Republicans’ long-term re-election strategy is to ensnare nations in endless wars, conflict and engineered terrorism. But that’s another article altogether. For the record, I endorse the platform of the Canary Party.)

Jonathan Turley ~ The Weiner Scandal: The Morality Play Without A Moral Or Redeeming Character

Jonathan Turley  July 26 2013

220px-Huma_Abedin220px-AnthonyweinerI must admit to being a bit depressed this day about our country and what has come of principles and ethics among both our politicians and citizens. There seems to be a corruption not just of power but of spirit. The Weiner scandal this morning captures my angst perfectly. There literally does not appear a single redeeming character. You have Anthony Weiner aka Carlos Danger. Then you have the other half of the power couple, Huma Abedin, who assured everyone that she still believes in him while recent reports show a questionable salary arrangement with a Clinton-connected company. Then you have Ms. Leathers, one of the other women, who is actually denouncing Weiner as betraying her when she was helping him betray his wife. Then you have Democratic voters who still have Weiner in a close second place to be elected mayor of New York. If you wonder why our politicians treat us like chumps, just take a look at the Weiner scandal.

First, let check in with Carlos Danger. Weiner is now saying that he may have had three women with whom he had a kinky Internet relationship after resigning and after his wife gave birth to their child. You may remember Weiner’s first apology where he promised to reform and focus on the love of his life (no not power): Huma. Now he suggests that she may have pushed him into the Internet arms of women because he had these relationship during a “rough time” in his marriage. That “rough time” of course was due to Weiner’s original scandal with women, some of whom never asked for pictures of his naked body and genitalia. It was the same rough time when he lied to his wife while attacking these women and reporters over the story. He now suggests that, after creating that rough time, he was forced to have additional relationships. That is like having an affair with one women and then starting affairs with three others because the first affair left him a bit estranged or uncomfortable with his wife. To a narcissist like Weiner, that makes perfect sense.

Carl Gibson ~ Time To Abolish Left vs. Right

NationofChange May 16 2013

cartoon_political_LvsR

Keeping our nation divided is an agenda supported by both Fox News and MSNBC. The media and the politicians both profit from Americans believing they should hate their fellow Americans. And oddly enough, the one thing that unites the traditional “right” and “left” in this country is our hatred for those same media organizations and politicians that make money by regularly lying to us. The best way to beat them is to find the things that bring us together in one common purpose and unite around that.

An article in the Atlantic last week talked about how the dominant liberal narrative is broken. The argument that government is inherently good and is necessary to provide things like Social Security, Medicare and national parks has some truth to it, and worked well for both parties in the mid-twentieth century. Democrats and Republicans from FDR to Eisenhower won landslide elections using the good-government narrative. But now that our government is captive to corporations and their lobbyists like the US Chamber of Commerce, Americans of all ideological leanings are united in the belief that our current government, as it stands, is completely out of touch and needs radical change from outside the political system to do it.

This speech by Mark Meckler, a co-founder of Tea Party patriots, talks about how he had a surprisingly pleasant conversation with several of the co-founders of MoveOn.org about crony capitalism. It was an incredibly populist speech about how they found themselves in complete agreement with one another that big moneyed special interests have taken government hostage and wastes billions of tax dollars on bailing out banks (like the Federal Reserve’s$16 trillion in bailouts to both US and foreign banks that went entirely under the media’s radar). He also talked about how it’s more profitable for the crony capitalist DC bubble and the media they control to keep us divided than it is for us to play into those forced divisions.

Laura Bruno ~ The Bankers Manifesto of 1892

Laura Bruno’s Blog | April 21 2012

Charles LindberghI discovered this little gem by following a link from Freedom Reigns County Project to an example of a County Relocalization Project in Ohio. Their site quotes from something called The Bankers Manifesto of 1892, which seems to be playing out like clockwork again, especially with the “housing crisis” and the bogus 2-party political system:

“People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. History repeats itself in regular cycles. This truth is well known among our principal men who are engaged in forming an imperialism of the world. While they are doing this, the people must be kept in a state of political antagonism.

“The question of tariff reform must be urged through the organization known as the Democratic Party, and the question of protection with the reciprocity must be forced to view through the Republican Party.

“By thus dividing voters, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us, except as teachers to the common herd. Thus, by discrete actions, we can secure all that has been so generously planned and successfully accomplished.”

The quoted portions jumped out at me enough to see if I could find the full Bankers Manifesto of 1892, and I found it here. Thanks to Federal Observer Articles for posting the following in its entirety. I report it here in hopes of shining a little more light for those people still convinced that knee-jerk Democrat or Republican support will somehow resolve the money issues tearing apart our country and our lives. The bankers’ choice really comes down to one option: “Obamney.” It’s not unlike Matrix movie viewers convinced they’re so smart by choosing “the red pill” over “the blue pill,” not even considering that they could opt for no pill, a purple pill, or something completely outside the pillbox! Opening your eyes to reality doesn’t need to look tragic, and there are far more diverse options in this world than “Zion.”
