Chautauqua ~ Reincarnation, Karma & Destiny

“Your destiny is what you are destined to experience in this life deriving from your chain of choices & decisions as you navigate your way thru the illusion of linear time.  It is decidedly not a pre-determined outcome impossible to alter or avoid.” ~ Chautauqua

As above – So below.  It is one of the first spiritual maxims many encounter upon awakening from the dream world of consensus reality; and is intended to highlight the connections between the macrocosm and microcosm.  We all have a good enough grasp of the microcosm, that’s us, here in this place where getting a grasp of the macrocosm is what the spiritual journey is all about.

Of course macrocosm is just another descriptive for all we seek to know & understand about this experience called life.  There’s no shortage of other words, labels, & names for it; and because a good many humans still attach emotional value to their beliefs & labels, I’ll just refer to it as the Realm of Permanence, hoping nobody feels offended in any way.  This Realm of Permanence is where we all originate from, and return to; it is Source.

~ Reincarnation ~

Back when time was young, millions of souls agreed to participate in a kind of experiment (which is why earth isn’t homeworld for any of us, we’re all transplants here).  Source wanted to know if we could be stranded here on this primitive, negative, low-density, low-vibration planet with absolutely no memory ~ and still find our way back home to source.  This transmigration of souls would play out over thousands of generations, with each of the participants having multiple and successive lifetime experiences, called incarnations. Openhand ~ The Divine Gift Of Beingness

“Forget about needing to make a choice. Your higher consciousness has already chosen. Instead look first for the blockages you can expose, accept, expand into and let go of. Then, above all, look for the gift of beingness that is wanting to come through you right now.” Open

StoneAndFlowersIt seems to me so many are trying to figure out exactly why we are here, in this incarnation right now. And in a world of increasing craziness, exactly what are we here to do? How can we help? It’s a question that’s enough to drive you crazy just thinking about it! So what if the reason for your incarnation could easily be revealed to you from the current circumstances of your life? What if a simple change of perspective on how we create reality could uplift not just you, but everyone around you? What if that’s the only truly positive way to change the world…

The Universal Law of Attraction

In my perspective on reality, it’s not that each of us is here to do a specific thing, although it may at times – for very good reasons – look like that (I’ll return to why in a moment).

To me, practically, everything works according to the Universal Law of Attraction, which in essence means:

Everything works in the universe according to the configuration of consciousness. Whatever configuration we have inside, is creative and manifests outside of ourselves exactly the mirror we need in order to further unwind, evolve and grow. Our purpose here is to shine our light ever more brightly, to express ever more authentically, to be all that we can be.

By the Law of Attraction, the mirror we create is our perfect tool for fulfilling that destiny.

So to me, our destiny is not something that we do – although we will do many things. Our destiny is all about our unfolding beingness.

Owen K Waters ~ Destiny Is Variable

Spiritual Dynamics February 3 2013

In the Old Reality, things were seen as opposites – black or white, hot or cold, good or bad, this way or that way. In the expanded view of New Reality consciousness, life is seen in a unified way. Opposite sides of the coin are viewed, not as polar opposites, but rather as just being different aspects of the one coin.

In the New Reality view of the world, the opposite extremes of black and white become, instead, endless shades of gray. Hot and cold become variable degrees of warmth. Good and bad become different shades of human nature; free of the judgment, resentment and fear that comes with Old Reality, polarized thinking.

In the Old Reality, destiny and free will were seen as mutually exclusive. The reasoning was that, if destiny exists, then it controls everything and, therefore, free will does not exist. On the other hand, you can prove that free will does exist by making a choice. So, as the thinking goes, if free will does exist, then there can be no destiny.

But, wait. Perhaps that choice of “free will” was really a pre-destined one. Perhaps the person was destined to make that choice all long, so the experience of choice was just an illusion. At this point, people usually give up on the whole question because it has turned into one of those brain teasers, like asking which came first – the chicken or the egg.

Brain teasers keep your mind in an endless loop until you step back from the situation and see it in a wider perspective. The new, wider perspective allows for the inclusion of non-materialistic factors. In deciding whether the chicken or the egg came first, for example, you just have to step back and see that the Creator designed the chicken to be self-perpetuating.

Mystic Tourist ~ Fate Or Destiny

The Mystic Tourist | June 3 2012

Fate results from how we are and is fickle, temperamental. An endless cycle of repetition, the past forever trying to get our attention so we might choose a better future. Destiny is who we are, our soul calling us, prodding us, to choose that better future. While these are not designed as the same thing when we choose our destiny they are the same.
