The Solution To Everything: Slavery To The State

“. . . Now we have a different kind of State. It’s…government. Yes. The State isn’t government. Aha. The State exists in places other than America. In America, we have government. Yes, that’s right. Two different animals. One is repressive, and the other is earnest. (More rainbows for the sentimentalists.)” ~J Rappoport

rainbowPotOfGoldLet me clarify that. Slavery to the corporate State. Government and mega-corporations work hand in hand.

The incurably naïve believe the State is beneficent. The government is kind. The government knows what to do. The government will solve society’s ills if we let it.

Of course, the government, in the form of NSA, is spying on everybody all the time—but you see, that’s not really the government. It’s a rogue element.

Sure it is. And rainbows will appear at any moment and the people of Earth will experience a galactic frequency that eradicates all impulses toward conflict.

To put it another way, people see what they want to see.

“Ahem, when I say ‘government,’ I don’t mean the CIA or the Pentagon or the FDA or the President’s national security team, or fraudulent federal scientists, or the whole lot of venal people in Congress, or corrupt prosecutors and judges or invasive bureaucrats or paper-pushing money-sucking desk jockeys.”

Of course not. Government is an idea in the mind of God.

And when you think about it, the NSA watches over us to make sure we stay on the path of righteousness. It’s absurd to be suspicious of the State. The authors of the Constitution, who tried to limit central authority, were a bunch of paranoids.

We need more government, not less. Continue reading

Jon Rappoport ~ Barack Obama And The Monsanto Betrayal

JonRappoport ‘sBlog  May 7, 2014

cartoon_gmo_cornUnder the selective radar of mainstream media, Barack Obama has been carving out a whole new level of support for Monsanto and other destructive biotech giants.

From Scott Creighton, “Obama Pitches India Model of GM Genocide to Africa”:

“At the G8 Summit held two weeks ago at Camp David, President Obama met with private industry and African heads of state to launch the New Alliance for Food Security and Nutrition, a euphemism for monocultured, genetically modified crops and toxic agrochemicals aimed at making poor farmers debt slaves to corporations, while destroying the ecosphere for profit.

“But African civil society wants no part of this latest Monsanto aligned ‘public private partnership.’ Whatever will the progressives do now that their flawless hero has teamed up with their most hated nemesis [Monsanto] to exploit an entire continent like they did to India not that long ago?…

“With a commitment of $3 billion, Obama plans to ‘partner up’ with mega-multinationals like Monsanto, Diageo, Dupont, Cargill, Vodafone, Walmart, Pepsico, Prudential, Syngenta International, and Swiss Re because, as one USAID representative says ‘There are things that only companies can do, like building silos for storage and developing seeds and fertilizers.’

“Of course, that’s an outrageous lie. Private citizens have been building their own silos for centuries. But it’s true that only the biowreck engineers will foist patented seeds and toxic chemicals on Africa.”

Under the guise of replacing the “donor-recipient model” of charity with “smart business development that’s a win-win for everybody,” a new level of corporate-government colonialism is aimed at the continent of Africa. The new and improved strategy means bigger profits for the few and greater suffering and displacement for the many. Continue reading

Melissa Melton ~ Monsanto And Dupont Spent Nearly $9 Million To Defeat GMO Labeling In Washington

TheDailySheeple  October 27 2013

ConAgra FoodsMore than half of the states in this country are currently fighting to mandate GMO labeling; if voters say yes to Initiative 522, Washington could be the first in the nation to force companies to give consumers some sort of clue if what they are eating has been genetically modified.

Now Bloomberg is reporting that Monsanto and DuPont, two of the nation’s largest producers of GMO seeds in the U.S. have given a combined $8.7 million towards I-522′s defeat — nearly half of the $18.1 million raised against the labeling initiative so far.

This should come as no surprise, considering the two biotech giants also happened to be the two biggest contributors toward the defeat of California’s similar prop 37 labeling initiative last year. Five million is more than Monsanto has spent lobbying the government thus far this year, which is about $3 million (although the year is not over yet).

Since tossing their millions into the anti-labeling pot, I-522′s 45% lead in the polls has dropped dramatically to a depressing 4%.

In addition, Natural News is reporting a whole host of major food labels have financially joined the fight against their customers’ basic right to know what’s in their food, including:

  1. Bimbo Bakeries USA
  2. Bumble Bee Foods, LLC
  3. Campbell Soup Co.
  4. Cargill Inc.
  5. The Clorox Co. (owner of Burt’s Bees brand)
  6. The Coca-Cola Co. (owner of Odwalla)
  7. ConAgra Foods
  8. Dean Foods Co. (owner of Horizon milk)
  9. Del Monte Foods Co.
  10. General Mills, Inc. (owned of Larabar)
  11. The Hershey Co.
  12. The Hillshire Brands Co.
  13. Hormel Foods Corp.
  14. The J.M. Smucker Co.
  15. Kellogg Co. (owner of Pop-Tarts)
  16. Land O’Lakes, Inc.
  17. Mondelez Global, LLC. (formerly Kraft Foods)
  18. Nestle USA, Inc.
  19. Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc.
  20. PepsiCo, Inc. (owner of Naked Juice)

Russia Suggests That War May Be Necessary To Stop Monsanto

PoliticalBlindSpot June 13 2013

While I was listening to a recent interview with Graham Hancock about his new novel and his TED lecture, the startling claim was made that Russian President Vladimir Putin commented that war might be a necessary result of the Monsanto Protection Act. I was skeptical, but did a little digging around, and it turns out the story checks out…

The shocking minutes relating to President Putin’s meeting last month with US Secretary of State John Kerry reveal the Russian leaders “extreme outrage” over the Obama regimes continued protection of global seed and plant bio-genetic giants Syngenta and Monsanto in the face of a growing “bee apocalypse” that the Kremlin warns “will most certainly” lead to world war.

According to these minutes, released in the Kremlin today by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation (MNRE), Putin was so incensed over the Obama regimes refusal to discuss this grave matter that he refused for three hours to even meet with Kerry, who had traveled to Moscow on a scheduled diplomatic mission, but then relented so as to not cause an even greater rift between these two nations.

At the center of this dispute between Russia and the US, this MNRE report says, is the “undisputed evidence” that a class of neuro-active insecticides chemically related to nicotine, known as neonicotinoids, are destroying our planets bee population, and which if left unchecked could destroy our world’s ability to grow enough food to feed its population.

So grave has this situation become, the MNRE reports, the full European Commission (EC) this past week instituted a two-year precautionary ban (set to begin on 1 December 2013) on these “bee killing” pesticides following the lead of Switzerland, France, Italy, Russia, Slovenia and Ukraine, all of whom had previously banned these most dangerous of genetically altered organisms from being used on the continent.

Two of the most feared neonicotinoids being banned are Actara and Cruiser made by the Swiss global bio-tech seed and pesticide giant Syngenta AG which employs over 26,000 people in over 90 countries and ranks third in total global sales in the commercial agricultural seeds market.

Important to note, this report says, is that Syngenta, along with bio-tech giants Monsanto, Bayer, Dow and DuPont, now control nearly 100% of the global market for genetically modified pesticides, plants and seeds.

Also to note about Syngenta, this report continues, is that in 2012 it was criminally charged in Germany for concealing the fact that its genetically modified corn killed cattle, and settled a class-action lawsuit in the US for $105 million after it was discovered they had contaminated the drinking supply of some 52 million Americans in more than 2,000 water districts with its “gender-bending” herbicide Atrazine.

Genetic Roulette Wins Top Transformational Film

Activist Post February 5 2013

If there’s only one more documentary you see in the remainder of your life: Make sure it’s Genetic Roulette: The Gamble of Our Lives. World renown genetically modified organism (GMO) expert Jefferey Smith, who heads The Institute for Responsible Technology, directed and wrote the film that won Solari Best Film of the Year, 2012 and most recently Aware Guide’s Top Transformational film of 2012.

If you’ve been following GMO news for years, you are still sure to learn new, shocking information in this recent release. What’s unique is that even if you’ve never heard of a GMO, the movie is easy to digest without losing its informed audience.Watch it free here until Feb 10 and definitely read and share the following review with your loved ones:

Is Genetic Roulette a downer? According to Aware Guide founder, a top transformational film would “inspire the movement of society towards ideals, values and practices that create a better world for everyone. They focus on solutions, not problems for issues such as: Consciousness, Environment, Energy, Health, Inspiration And Social Issues.

Thanks to overwhelming votes at Aware Guide, Genetic Roulette was a clear winner. It was also a close runner-up for the their top Impact film. Aware Guide noted, “The overwhelming support for this film shows that it is only a matter of time before GMO labeling laws are passed.”

For some reason, it is easy to see the sensational Supersize Me, but go back to fast food eating after the dazzle fades. Not so with Genetic Roulette – it so empowering and info-packed that one could easily walk away from GMOs, conventional pesticide-doused no-nutrient produce, and store-bought milk laced with bovine growth hormone — forever.
