Harmaline Wonderland Of Gnomes, Elves, Faeries And Sprites

“I can tell you based on my own experience that once you are keyed into the presence of these sylvan spirits that you begin to recognize certain structures and features that they leave behind, that they construct using natural materials. They have a fundamental, indispensable, working relationship with Nature — and with us — being that we are also part of Nature, whether we recognize or admit that essential fact, or not.”  – R Sauder

We live in a world of transcendent mystery

RealFairyGnomeElfThat is the overriding reality of this planet. I realize that a lot of people don’t get that, but that is because a sort of false reality, an artificially contrived simulacrum of reality, has been clamped down on this planet.

Whence springs the simulacrum? Whence stems the mind, body and soul deceiving fraud?

Ah, that is the source of much contention.

Some say the Archons that John Lash has talked and written so extensively about are the cause. Others maintain that nefarious E.T. species are at fault. Those of a fundamentalist, religious bent will lay the blame on Satan (whoever or whatever “Satan” is). Continue reading

Chosen By Fate – Loved By The Fae

What Do You Mean You Don’t Believe In Faeries?

RavenFairyFaeries aren’t real, you say. They’re just characters in nursery tales we put aside when we graduated to second grade and had everything all figured out. That’s what I thought too, grounded grownup that I am… until I met one. Up to that day my only prior experience had been financial transactions with The Tooth Fairy: leave a discarded baby tooth under your pillow, receive money. That worked great until I ran out of baby teeth. After my dental cash cow died, faeries were no longer on my radar at all, ever.

Despite my insouciance, a faery had been watching me for many years in human time. She followed me as I fed the wild birds every day, no matter how cold it was or how deep the snow. She watched as I conversed with bees and dutifully carried spiders out of the house instead of smacking them with a newspaper. She lives in my riotous lavender bed and watched me plant fields of wildflowers, play nice with mice and snakes, and I guess at some point she decided I was worthy enough. I felt her presence in a vague way but had no idea I was being tested, and I passed anyway.

To take visible form was very difficult for her, the Fae are uncomfortable in our dimension, and for good reason; to them we are haughty, lumbering creatures who bustle about, bristling with self-importance, believing we are far too sophisticated to engage with magical beings. We wrap our lives around so many misconceptions that we really cannot see the forest for the tree spirits.

How To See Faeries

Laura Bruno’s Blog | July 23 2012

Several people have asked me how to see faeries, so I thought I’d share this short video from a New Zealand shaman raised near where Rivendell was filmed in “Lord of the Rings.” Can you see the faeries and nature spirits in this video? They’re there!

Most people find it more effective to part the veil through peripheral vision rather than a sharp focus front and center. You might find it easier to notice the beings in this video if you soften your gaze and allow lighting anomalies to register on your consciousness. Before watching, give your mind permission to report the information as it comes through, rather than carefully censoring and interpreting the data.

This is a good practice anytime you hope to see things outside of “normal” experience. Our brain discards information or reinterprets it based on earlier concepts and expectations. If you read the comments on the youtube channel, you’ll notice that some people see multiple faeries and a face in a tree, whereas others see nothing out of the ordinary. Filters! They determine what you see.

For some people, sensing faeries or seeing them with your inner eye is easier than seeing with your physical eyes. I learned that technique as a child because I grew up in a family where seeing “things that aren’t there” got you labeled as crazy and in need of counseling or medication. I do sometimes actually see faeries and other nature spirits and angels, but far more often I feel them or see them in my mind’s eye, like the Elementals’ Rain Dance I described a few days ago.

I’ve had numerous experiences like the video above, when suddenly the energy of a forest changes. In 2010, I spent three weeks in Canada, painting portal doors and hiking in pristine forests. On my last day there, I was walking with a friend and I felt the energy grow sacred. The vibration raised to such an extent that I felt giddy and “at home.” My hiking companion registered it physically too, but instead of feeling fabulous, he felt like he might throw up. He began to sweat and felt faint. I told him not to worry, that we had just entered a faery portal, but that alarmed him rather than calmed him down. He had trouble catching his breath and started shaking. Even though he had claimed to want to experience the faery world as I do, when it began to happen, he moved quickly into fear. The change from “normal” was just too dramatic for him to integrate.

Working With The Elementals

Laura Bruno’s Blog | July 18 2012

People call our house “The Faery Cottage,” and it’s true, I always have quite a community of faeries around me wherever I go. I’ve worked with them for years in my personal life, painting doors with faery symbols, studying Runes, trees and Ogham, painting their symbols and generally trying to transform the rough or ugly into something more beautiful. That’s what I do. In 2010, I had a magical experience around my birthday. Tania Marie gifted me a faery portal door that instructed me, “Place these doors against a wall or skirting board and let the fairies into your home.” I did so, and the very next day, a blue faery arrived in the mail! I’ve kept them together ever since:

Faerie
Faery Portal and Faery

In 2011, my work with the faeries increased in two ways: 1) I started asking the Elementals to help buffer some of the negative Earth changes plotted and planned by the psychopaths running HAARP, Monsanto, Agenda 21 and other nasties; and 2) I started gardening. I can’t know exactly how much to attribute to them, but last year, nothing happened with the New Madrid Fault or the Hoover Dam, despite numerous veiled threats and a few troubling nightmares. I know the Elementals did something, because they are even more sensitive than we are to perversions of Nature and the natural order. At some point, those concerns simply left my field.
