A Great Madness Sweeps the Land

A Great Madness Sweeps the LandCharles Hugh Smith – A great madness sweeps the land. There are no limits on extremes in greed, credulity, convictions, inequality, bombast, recklessness, fraud, corruption, arrogance, hubris, pride, over-reach, self-righteousness and confidence in the rightness of one’s opinions. Extremes only become more extreme even as the folly of previous extremes wearies rationality.

Imaginary sins are conjured out of thin air to convict the innocent while those guilty of the most egregious fraud and corruption are lauded as saviors. Continue reading

The Costs of Dragon Maintenance

dragonGary Christenson – The next time you:

  • Pay your mortgage, which is mostly interest;
  • Pay your outrageously large auto or student loan;
  • Pay an exorbitant amount for health insurance;
  • Pay an even larger co-pay for a minor hospital procedure;
  • Buy groceries for $100 and compare that purchase to what $100 bought in 1971;
  • Realize that a four person family’s share of the U. S. national debt is nearly one-quarter million dollars …

Consider the costs of fiat paper currencies, deficit spending, central banking and … dragon maintenance.

A long time ago and far, far away outlaws raided a village and stole food, gold and women. The angry villagers could do little to protect their village except pray to their gods.

A large and fearsome dragon descended into the village square answering their prayers. The dragon agreed to protect the village in return for food. Continue reading

The Ongoing Erosion of the Matrix/Control Agenda

wayZen Gardner – Here’s an interesting dynamic that’s clearly at play in our ongoing reality. You can treat this as a “what if” perception or however you like, but I actually think the parasitic “powers that want to be” have a very real respect for people who “get it”. They not only get a kick out of us tracking them, but more importantly many levels of the cabal actually learn from us since they’re so helplessly blinded by their own compartmentalized program.

Stay with me, this understanding is extremely empowering…

These lower level (and they’re all lower level) controllers don’t know what the hell they’re doing nor see it nearly as clearly as we do. They’re not given the full “agenda”. They are employees, hired guns, executioners, agents, stooges, unbeknownst to them, while working for a living and the goodies of personal gain. They get enough of the picture to keep them motivated via the greed and parasitic energy-sucking dynamic they engage in that brings their benefits and sense of importance, but somewhere within they can and many do know they are being manipulated and well contained in clearly compartmentalized cubicles of partial knowledge. And this no doubt frustrates the heck out of them at some level.

How do I know that? Because it’s the nature of the beast.

The Psychopathy of Greed

greedZen Gardner – I always find it interesting that people blame corporate greed for our overall condition. Sure it’s a major factor at one level, but it’s just an obvious outcropping of something much, much deeper. Sadly not that many are willing to go there.

That the entire world system is built on a capitalist system in one form or another is mind boggling. Defying our innate conscious awareness to the contrary, the signal has been given and repeatedly endorsed as well as crassly promoted that we need to gain off of each other, in each and every transaction, every exchange, in a no holds barred, dog eat dog environment.

One look at the marketing world and you get the picture. And the supposed “fittest” come out on top.

This is how and why the populace acquiesces to domination by the few. “They’re just good at what they do. They’re smarter and more motivated than the rest of us so surely they deserve to be winners in the game.”

Humanity’s being told how the game works and that this is your only option. “It’s just the way it is, so get to work and earn your salary, then invest in the game and try to get ahead and make a name and lots of money for yourself.” At which point the sharks devour the unsuspecting guppy.

Group absolved endemic greed doesn’t make it right, however justified, by any stretch of the imagination.

The Corporate “Growth” Model

It’s fully accepted that corporations need to grow. For their good, for our good, or so we’re told. It’s a fear based econo-survivalist psychological scam. Who says they need to constantly make more, for their investors’ interests or otherwise? Yet this is considered healthy in a capitalistic system, under the guise of increased jobs and benefits and a prosperous economy. Continue reading

Outrageous Big Pharma greed on parade as $1 pill skyrockets to $750 PER PILL

Big PharmaMike Adams – The total greed of Big Pharma is on parade this week as a company called Turing Pharmaceuticals took ownership of a lifesaving medication that treats parasitic infections like malaria. The pill — mostly purchased by AIDS and cancer patients — used to cost $1 each. But now, thanks to Turing Pharmaceuticals and its profiteering CEO Martin Shkreli, each pill will cost you $750.

Remarkably, The New York Times even covered the story, reporting, “Specialists in infectious disease are protesting a gigantic overnight increase in the price of a 62-year-old drug that is the standard of care for treating a life-threatening parasitic infection.”

“The drug, called Daraprim, was acquired in August by Turing Pharmaceuticals, a start-up run by a former hedge fund manager. Turing immediately raised the price to $750 a tablet from $13.50, bringing the annual cost of treatment for some patients to hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

This drug was priced at just $1 a few years ago. It went up to $13.50 over the last decade or so, and now has spiked to $750 per pill. This means a single treatment course could cost more than buying a home.

This is all explained by the “Taiwanese animators” in this highly educational animated short video:

Big Pharma greed on parade and out of control

Why is Turing Pharmaceuticals charging $750 a pill? Because they CAN. Like every other drug company in the world, they’re going to gouge the consumer and extract the maximum dollars possible. Big Pharma is really about the profits, you see, and not at all interested in “helping humanity” as their ridiculous TV ads claim. Continue reading
