The Power of the Powerless Is Real

J B Shurk – One of the most challenging obstacles working against ordinary citizens in the West is the self-satisfying presumption that Western institutions and philosophies are inherently immune from the rise of totalitarianism.  This is an understandable blind spot.

Their identities have been forged, to various degrees, in the great traditions of Enlightenment notions of liberty, free speech, and natural rights.  Surely the victors over communism, fascism, and Nazism cannot then fall victim to the madness of those same philosophies collapsing their systems from within.  This “Us/Them” self-delusion has kept the citizenry from recognizing tyranny inside its gates. Why the Silent Majority Is Turning Angry

americanJack Gleason – Americans are an easygoing lot.  We let bygones be bygones.  If crazy Uncle Bob wants to rattle on at Thanksgiving dinner about global warming in the middle of the coldest winter in twenty years, we politely ask for more cranberry sauce.

We have been known as “the silent majority.”  We vote pretty often, but we don’t donate to politicians or volunteer on campaigns.  And we certainly don’t protest at City Hall.

But this good nature is predicated on our government playing by the rules and staying out of our lives.  (Watch the fun when someone from the government knocks on our door and offers to help.)  We’re old enough to have been taught about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in school, and we know that without fair and consistent rules, a successful society can’t exist. Trump’s human rights move stuns liberal leaders

human rightsFrank Holmes – Left-wing radicals have two simple rules.

Rule one: Everything they don’t like is “racist” and ought to be illegal.

Rule two: Everything they do like is a human right that must be given to them for free.

But all that may come to an end, thanks to a clever new move taken by President Donald Trump. He’s using their own language against them to return America to the vision of our Founding Fathers — and to promote freedom more than any president in at least 7 decades.

For decades, Democrats have called everyone of their new policy a “human right.” Continue reading

Trump Trafficking EO, Voter Fraud, CNN Pot New Year [Video]

highGreg Hunter – The Trump Executive Order (EO) on “human rights or corruption” may get some use in 2018. Anonymous sources and Washington insiders think this EO will be used to mount a counter attack against the so-called Washington Swamp and the Deep State who are trying to kick President Trump out of office.

The order allows the Treasury Department to block and take assets of anyone involved in human trafficking or corruption, and this means any corruption.  In short, Trump is going to war against globalists who have been selling out and ripping off America for decades.  Some Intel experts say this is one of the most pivotal times in American history.

President Trump has disbanded his voter fraud commission because of heavy resistance from some very blue states such as New York and California. Trump has charged that he will not get bogged down in legal action and, instead, has turned the investigation over to Homeland Security.  Is voter fraud a national security issue?  According to this move by the White House—yes, it is.

We All Have Inherent Rights – Regardless of Whether a Nation’s “Authority” Recognizes It

Makia Freeman – We all have inherent rights, no matter whether the governing authority of a particular geographical area recognizes it or whether it has been written down on a piece of paper as law. People from different from societies and cultures call these rights slightly different things. In the USA, they have been referred to as unalienable rights ever since the 1776 Declaration of Independence. Some call them natural rights to distinguish them from State-granted rights (which are not really rights but rather privileges). Others simply call them human rights. From a more religious perspective they are called God-given rights. Those who are uncomfortable with the loaded term “God” because of all the connotations it carries may prefer intrinsic rights or inherent rights. But, whatever you call them, they are a universal concept; they are a natural extension of ourselves with which we are born, and which we possess just by virtue of being human.

What is the Definition of “Inherent Rights”?

A right is an entitlement to a need. Inherent rights are the extension of intuitive self-knowing, of knowing that we are entitled to have our basic needs met. They are the verbalization of an instinctual feeling that we are worthy of love, peace and abundance, and that we deserve certain things because we are alive. These rights “come with” us, and we carry them around, like a tortoise carries its shell. Technically, inherent rights have no material existence outside the human mind, so from one perspective you could say we have invented them. However, I believe they are pointing to something profound and ineffable, like a mapping device for how we are supposed to make our way in this world and socially interact with others.

Why Inherent Rights Matter
