Chosen By Fate – Loved By The Fae

What Do You Mean You Don’t Believe In Faeries?

RavenFairyFaeries aren’t real, you say. They’re just characters in nursery tales we put aside when we graduated to second grade and had everything all figured out. That’s what I thought too, grounded grownup that I am… until I met one. Up to that day my only prior experience had been financial transactions with The Tooth Fairy: leave a discarded baby tooth under your pillow, receive money. That worked great until I ran out of baby teeth. After my dental cash cow died, faeries were no longer on my radar at all, ever.

Despite my insouciance, a faery had been watching me for many years in human time. She followed me as I fed the wild birds every day, no matter how cold it was or how deep the snow. She watched as I conversed with bees and dutifully carried spiders out of the house instead of smacking them with a newspaper. She lives in my riotous lavender bed and watched me plant fields of wildflowers, play nice with mice and snakes, and I guess at some point she decided I was worthy enough. I felt her presence in a vague way but had no idea I was being tested, and I passed anyway.

To take visible form was very difficult for her, the Fae are uncomfortable in our dimension, and for good reason; to them we are haughty, lumbering creatures who bustle about, bristling with self-importance, believing we are far too sophisticated to engage with magical beings. We wrap our lives around so many misconceptions that we really cannot see the forest for the tree spirits.

The Science Of Persuasion

Laura Bruno’s Blog | January 21 2013

The following video offers six tips for getting what you want. You could think of it as a list of scientific marketing strategies, but that’s not why I’m posting the video. In the realm of manipulation, let’s just say, “Knowledge is power.” I’ve posted before regarding symbols and the subconscious, but this video talks more about ways that human behavior can reliably be influenced during this age of information overload.

Next time you’re certain that “the other side is wrong” or wonder if someone “might have an agenda,” take a step back and see if you can spot any of these techniques. Finding such techniques in use doesn’t necessarily mean the source is “bad” or purposely trying to brainwash you … BUT … recognizing the techniques in use can help you to remain objective as you make your own informed decisions.

(Tough) Love And (Wake-Up) Light

Laura Bruno’s Blog | December 18 2012

Wow, the intensity as we approach the Dark Rift of our Galaxy is palpable. Besides sessions, I find myself alternately sleeping and praying. There is just. So. Much. Energy. If the desperation of the Powers that Be/Soon to be Were is any indication, then we really do fight with powers and principalities, cloaked in the costumes and characters of 3Dality.

It always surprises me when otherwise rational, loving and reasonably aware people start spouting trance-speak regarding current events. Having not voluntarily watched any television for all but two years since 1991, I forget that one reason I can do this intuitive work stems from natural gifts … but that the other reason comes from not routinely subjecting myself to tell-LIE-vision.

In the interest of public service and in the hopes of some news viewers recognizing the religious pomp and substitute spirituality that allow media to create their truth, I’m sharing this post by Jon Rappoport. Those people committed to media brainwashing will dismiss his words, but those people who’ve begun to go hmmmm may finally have some gears click into place. No time like the present to reclaim your own reality creation powers. Someone snuck into your brain and hid ’em, but I promise you, they’re still available for your own use — if you claim them. We are each more powerful than the media and Hollywood give us permission to imagine. When are we going to reclaim our own mental, emotional and spiritual sovereignty? As soon as we do that, we’ll find the physical blessings, too. Here’s Jon:

Attitude Of Gratitude

Laura Bruno’s Blog | August 14 2012

EnergyToday I am affirming a world in which people can learn to give and receive in balance, to feel the wonder of gifts and to trust that small kindnesses will indeed be repaid in full. As St. Francis says, “It is in giving that we receive.” I had an experience last night that shocked me to the core but also shed so much light (again) on just how much an addictive sense of lack and the perceived need for grasping works to turn a would-be giver away.

I gave anyway, but profound sadness surrounding this experience still lingers, mostly because I see how it plays out in our larger world. I will not invest my energy in this direction again, and that saddens me, because my heart saw so clearly the potential ripple effects of such an offering. Instead, the person received back what they gave, plus a bonus of much more, and yet the net gain for that person is a huge loss. Ingratitude severed what could have been an ongoing stream of freely offered blessings.

Working With The Elementals

Laura Bruno’s Blog | July 18 2012

People call our house “The Faery Cottage,” and it’s true, I always have quite a community of faeries around me wherever I go. I’ve worked with them for years in my personal life, painting doors with faery symbols, studying Runes, trees and Ogham, painting their symbols and generally trying to transform the rough or ugly into something more beautiful. That’s what I do. In 2010, I had a magical experience around my birthday. Tania Marie gifted me a faery portal door that instructed me, “Place these doors against a wall or skirting board and let the fairies into your home.” I did so, and the very next day, a blue faery arrived in the mail! I’ve kept them together ever since:

Faery Portal and Faery

In 2011, my work with the faeries increased in two ways: 1) I started asking the Elementals to help buffer some of the negative Earth changes plotted and planned by the psychopaths running HAARP, Monsanto, Agenda 21 and other nasties; and 2) I started gardening. I can’t know exactly how much to attribute to them, but last year, nothing happened with the New Madrid Fault or the Hoover Dam, despite numerous veiled threats and a few troubling nightmares. I know the Elementals did something, because they are even more sensitive than we are to perversions of Nature and the natural order. At some point, those concerns simply left my field.
