SummerSolsticeCrystals1Can you believe that half of the year is already gone, and summertime is basically here? The summer solstice is right around the corner, on June 21st. It marks the longest day of the year, a time when we are at maximum light. The progress of the sun throughout the year represents our journey of achieving enlightenment, and so we are at the peak on this day. It is a time when light triumphs over dark, a time for us to focus on ascension, integration, and wholeness. So make time to celebrate your conscious awakening on the solstice! The summer solstice is ideal for honoring and connecting with the Divine Masculine, which is represented by solar energies. The Divine Masculine is the part of yourself that makes things happen in your physical reality. It’s about strength, structure, right action, walking your talk, and shining your light and gifts into the world with confidence. Summer is also a time for your sacral chakra to sizzle with passion, desire, and sensuality. The sun heats things up in the love and creativity departments. And finally, summer is also known as a time of “life in full bloom.” This is a time of picnics, fireworks, social gatherings, vacations, and general fun and celebration. It is more about basking in all of the good spiritual work you have done in the past year rather than starting new projects or going in new directions. I want to share with you six crystals that can help you connect with these energetic themes of summertime, along with a crystal layout you can do with them to help you brightly shine your light.

Rutile is a titanium oxide crystal that looks like brown, gold, silver, or red needles. They come from the Earth and were created when the Earth was being formed. They have continued to metamorphose as the planet itself has changed. They are the Earth’s DNA and a chemical imprint for evolution. You can find them at a metaphysical store that sells them, caves, on mountains, in the forest, underwater and various other places. The easiest is from a metaphysical store. To find a store in your area, type ‘metaphysical store’ into Google and the city you live in and all the stores closest to you will pop up.

Ascension Crystals

DimensionSo here we are muddling about in 4th dimensional timespace (4D) wondering why the things we once relied upon no longer seem to work for us. We also wonder what is going on with time in general, as it seems to be exhibiting some rather strange properties of late. Yes, there are those who proclaim that we are still living in third dimensional timespace, (3D) but I suggest those folks are just living in the past, as humans so often prefer to do. If once reliable structures now being unreliable, and the shifting, morphing nature of time itself are not enough to convince you earth is in 4D … take a good look around at events transpiring on this planet. It may take some a while to wrap their head around the idea, that one of the reasons things we have relied upon don’t seem to work is because weare changing right along with everything else; evolving into beings who can exist and flourish in fifth dimensional timespace (5D).* This is manifesting as reality regardless of individual belief systems; kinda like gravity ~ it works whether you believe in it or not. It is nearing graduation time for the students enrolled in this earth school, and as with more familiar schools, some will move on ahead, while others will not. Those who feel they have gotten all they need here and are ready to move ahead are doing the things they know are required for guaranteeing a seat on the bus to 5D.

As covered in a recent post on Vibrational Medicine, we are timeless, ageless, multi-dimensional beings of energy, frequency and resonance who exist in a carbon based bio-suit made from stardust. We are all taking part in a group soul migration back to source, back to home. Those of us who truly know and more importantly feel this to be true find that our focus tends to narrow now, to those things which will help us reach that goal, everything not serving that, is being cut loose. We are dumping the rocks we’ve collected (baggage) from our rucksacks, we are getting ready for flight. We each have a ‘toolbox’ containing those things we’ve found helpful in our spiritual journey to enlightenment; these tools we use serve to raise our vibration & focus our intent…becoming part of our ‘spiritual practice’. Just as every carpenter’s toolbox should contain a few power tools, so should our spiritual toolbox, and by power tools I of course refer to the mineral kingdom of crystals and stones.

Carnelian: Creating Radiance In Your Body and Life

CarnelianCarnelian, a sunshine stone of positivity and vitality, is a common stone that you can buy with change you find at the bottom of your purse; but its regenerative power is not to be underestimated! I gained a great respect for the humble Carnelian when I was attending a Gemisphere crystal healing workshop, and I came down with a serious case of strep throat. My tonsils were coated in white spots, and it felt like I was swallowing razor blades. I had traveled all the way to Oregon, and I was determined to participate. So I made a pallet on the floor and buried myself underneath blankets, hoping I would absorb some of the information. In this workshop, we covered many different crystals and stones in a precise way. Each time we talked about a new one, we would put on a high-grade, therapeutic Gemisphere necklace made of that stone; and we would remove all other stones from the room so that we could immerse ourselves solely in the energy of that stone. When we got to Carnelian, I miraculously came back from the dead in about fifteen minutes! Within a few minutes of wearing Carnelian, I felt clearer, more awake, and was able to sit up. Then a few minutes later, I noticed less pain when I swallowed. Then next thing I knew, I actually felt compelled to stand up and jump around. I felt cured! On the break, I ran to the bathroom and looked at my throat in the mirror. My tonsils were considerably less swollen and actually looked normal. I couldn’t believe it, and neither could my classmates, who witnessed the practically instantaneous healing. I was able to complete the rest of the workshop with no physical symptoms and a boundless amount of energy. Since then, Carnelian has been a stone that I turn to for quick healing, energizing, and breakthroughs.

ChakraCarnelian is a form of Chalcedony, belonging to the Quartz family. It occurs in varying shades of orange, due to its iron content. You’ll find Carnelians that are brownish orange, pale orange, or deep red-orange. Some specimens display beautiful, banded patterns, such as the captivating Carnelians in my personal collection, pictured here. Many ancient cultures recognized Carnelian as a stone of power. For example, the Egyptians believed that Carnelian had healing and protective powers, and they also believed that it neutralized negative emotions, such as jealousy and anger. Crystal Healing For Cats

Crystals are vibrational healing tools that work through resonance. They have been used in healing humans for centuries and in last few decades have been adopted for healing felines as well. Each crystal has a specific vibrational frequency and amplitude that reverberates or resonates with, and attracts the energies of certain qualities or traits to a cat. Think of this as the unique “personality” of a crystal.

Crystal healing is a non-invasive, harmless modality that works on any living being. In cats it can be used for balancing and calming emotions, reducing stress and fear, clearing energy blockages, energizing and rejuvenating the physical body, treating common ailments and assisting with both acute and chronic conditions. It can also be used to encourage expanded states of consciousness. When using crystals in healing, it is important to be centered, balanced and grounded, and to have a clear intention for the outcome you desire, otherwise your thoughts, fears and imbalances may easily be transmitted to a cat through their conductive energy.

There are a number of ways to use crystal healing with felines. An important consideration is that if a crystal is small, your cat will probably think it’s a toy, and will bat it around until it is lost.

One of the best ways to use crystal healing for novices is via hands-on healing. This can be done by using either a predetermined crystal layout, or your own intuition. Hands-on healing takes time, but you can be much more precise about the area you’re working on, and for the length of time you are directing the energy. You can also incorporate crystal points to extract or channel in energy, and you’re there to witness the (often rewarding) reaction of your cat.
