This world is not your home – heaven is your home. But, you say, “we see the world of reality before our eyes every day and that is the world we have to live in!”
And I say, yes, so it would seem and yet if you will lift up your eyes, you will recognize that it could not be that God would have placed you in a world where so much suffering seems to be happening. Suffering is not the final reality, although it can seem very real. Continue reading
The Twelve – You have always had hard economic times. And you have always had prosperous economic times… an abundant supply of both. These “times” are no different than any others that you have ever had throughout your life experience. The difference now is that so many of your fellows are convinced that times are bad.
Keeping your faith when the road becomes drear is always a test for the heart and more so for the innermost soul. It is quite pleasing and ‘easy’ as all is free flowing and going our way, so to speak. The testing time arrives when the way becomes a little challenging and that which we thought was running so well now shows the reverse side of the equation and we are having to dig deep into our heart and soul to stay afloat and keep balanced.
