DHS Blows $5 Mil on Polygraphs for “Unsuitable” Job Applicants Who Admit Criminal Acts, Drug Use

securityJudicial Watch – The front-line Homeland Security agency charged with keeping terrorists and their weapons out of the United States wasted $5 million on lie detector tests for “unsuitable” job candidates that admitted committing criminal acts or drug use. This is disturbing for several reasons, mainly that this crucial agency, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is an essential part of the nation’s security yet it considers hiring agents with criminal histories. Secondly, it’s an inexcusable waste of taxpayer dollars, though that’s a government-wide epidemic hardly limited to this agency.

CBP functions under the immense Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and has some 60,000 employees, making it one of the world’s largest law enforcement organizations. Its duty is to safeguard America’s borders while enabling legitimate trade and travel, a monumental task that requires precision and good judgement.

On a typical day, CBP checks over 67,000 cargo containers, seizes nearly six tons of illicit drugs and screens about a million visitors to the U.S. Agents work in land borders, airports and seaports and they consider themselves the “guardians of our nation’s borders,” as well as “America’s frontline.” Undoubtedly, it’s a critical job that requires topnotch personnel—with clean criminal backgrounds—dedicated to the mission. “Think you can catch me?”

Judicial Watch today announced that the National Security Council (NSC) on May 23, 2017, informed it by letter that the materials regarding the unmasking by Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice of “the identities of any U.S. citizens associated with the Trump presidential campaign or transition team” have been removed to the Obama Library.

The NSC will not fulfill an April 4 Judicial Watch request for records regarding information relating to people “who were identified pursuant to intelligence collection activities.”

The agency also informed Judicial Watch that it would not turn over communications with any Intelligence Community member or agency concerning the alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election; the hacking of DNC computers; or the suspected communications between Russia and Trump campaign/transition officials. Specifically, the NSC told Judicial Watch: Continue reading

Peace is seeing perfection

lifeThe Angels – In the midst of a chaotic world or a chaotic life, you can find always peace. Peace is fleeting when it depends upon life looking as you wish. Lasting peace, however, is not dependent on outer circumstances. Lasting peace is based on the understanding that everything is always in right order if you look at life from the soul’s perspective. There are those who feel anxious and disturbed in a quiet room and there are those who feel peace in the midst of bombs dropping around them.

There are many external things that disrupt your peace, but what truly disrupts your peace internally is either fear or resistance. The more you can embrace life around you as it is, and the more you can trust in the love that lies beneath all creation, the more peaceful you heart will be.

You may fear for your safety and financial security, but in reality if you could trust that your needs will always be met you would feel peace and experience not only security, but true abundance. If you knew how indestructible your soul truly is, the attacks of the world would mean little, for the light of your soul can never be destroyed or diminished… not even in death. Continue reading

The Costs of Dragon Maintenance

dragonGary Christenson – The next time you:

  • Pay your mortgage, which is mostly interest;
  • Pay your outrageously large auto or student loan;
  • Pay an exorbitant amount for health insurance;
  • Pay an even larger co-pay for a minor hospital procedure;
  • Buy groceries for $100 and compare that purchase to what $100 bought in 1971;
  • Realize that a four person family’s share of the U. S. national debt is nearly one-quarter million dollars …

Consider the costs of fiat paper currencies, deficit spending, central banking and … dragon maintenance.

A long time ago and far, far away outlaws raided a village and stole food, gold and women. The angry villagers could do little to protect their village except pray to their gods.

A large and fearsome dragon descended into the village square answering their prayers. The dragon agreed to protect the village in return for food. Continue reading

“Careless” is Not the Word For What Clinton Did

securityFix This Nation – Knowing he couldn’t describe Hillary Clinton’s actions as “negligent” without running into a discrepancy between the law and his recommendations, FBI Director James Comey chose to characterize her email choices as “extremely careless.” A concern for voters? Perhaps. But not a concern for the Justice Department.

The American people are left to conclude that, as long as an individual does not specifically intend to sell national security secrets to our enemies, they can treat classified information however they want. Leave top secret missives in the break room. Post sensitive intelligence to your blog. As long as you didn’t “intentionally” sabotage national security, you’re fine.

Well, that’s not actually the standard, and anyone other than the presumptive Democratic nominee would be held accountable for what Hillary Clinton did. We all know that.
