Oracle Report Saturday: Gibbous Moon Phase – Moon in Sagittarius Sunday: Full Moon Phase- Moon in Capricorn
Ruling Mahavidya: Bagalamukhi
Like the giraffe, this weekend we are gifted with the ability to see far ahead. Events foreshadow the future. We are taking the high road in all things, especially things that involve three’s (as in three people). Most of the time we are focused on the present moment (“the point of power is in the present moment”-Seth), but this weekend we are able to project things out.
This weekend’s super Full Moon (supermoon) adds to the power. With the addition of the Sun conjunct the Black Moon and Friday’s solstice, we have all that is needed to aim ourselves toward what is highest and best for us. We can cast a line in to the future and follow it. Any personal activity or ritual undertaken this weekend is heavily supported, so take advantage of the opportunity to visualize your future. What do you want to cast out there?
So what’s the big deal with this Moon? Well it’s a bigun – it is a Moon that is in its perigee – the point in its orbit nearest the Earth – and happening so close to the Summer Solstice – only 2 days after on the 23rd of June. That doesn’t happen that often.
Apparently, the best time to see it will be on the evening of the 22nd of June – fingers crossed it is not cloudy where you are.
The Summer Solstice has always been important. It is the time of year that the days on Earth begin to shorten again and the Sun goes into the sign of Cancer the Crab. Symbolically, we can say that this signifies that the light of awareness, as represented by the Sun – now comes to us through our family, past and domestic affairs. It is a good time to act from the heart and express our bona fide feelings.
When the Moon is at its closest to the Earth we have a period of higher tides. Psychologically, it signifies a stronger pull on our emotions and will have a noticeable affect on those who express themselves through feeling.
In Astrology, the Moon rules Cancer meaning that when we express nurture and act on our feelings we do this through our receptive, personal lunar level of awareness as portrayed by the Moon.
If you’ve been thinking it’s been a little brighter lately at night, chances are you’re probably not imagining it.
And if you believe what the stars are telling us, it’s time to listen to the universe and prepare for some big changes – and you have an eclipse and super moon to thank for it come Saturday.
But while Saturday’s super moon might be good for some, it could spell bad news for our economy.
Astrologer Dadhici Toth said the effect of this eclipse was compounded because it was the third this month.
“It is significant for Australians because it will affect the finance sector of the national horoscope,” he said.
“The full effect won’t be seen for another month, but the economic bubble is about to burst.
“When the sun goes into the sign of cancer, there will be very significant turns in the stock market.”
Saturday brings us the super-conjunction of the Sun, the Black Moon, and Jupiter along with the super Full Moon (biggest and brightest of the year). For the past three days, we’ve been in a free fall just like the mythical phoenix, burning off whatever needs to be released from our lives. We’ve come to the limit of what we can carry that no longer serves us on our journey with Gaia. We have streamlined.
On Saturday, we hit the ground in a spectacular communion with the planet. This means that our individual energetic frequencies connect with the planet and are re-calibrated to be in alignment with her. There are many reasons for this but the main one is to enable us to withstand the increasingly intense energy that is driving most people out of their minds. A massive correction is taking place (and will continue through 2013) and anyone who is not firmly grounded in (in resonance with) the planet will suffer at the neurological level.
The “descent” that I’ve been talking about the last three days is an actual physiological process. The neurons of the brain are receiving an upgrade but it manifests to us as changes in our thinking and feeling, which in turn affects our decisions and therefore the status of our lives. To sustain sanity, we must continually refine our level of integrity (become kinder, stronger, better people). Saturday we directly contact the planet (hit the ground) and on Sunday we begin the ascent as a new form – an upgraded human being. The internal shift will cause our external worlds to begin to shift.
On the practical level, if you tend to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, you will want to dial it down because margaritas and the Black Moon are not a pretty combination. The Black Moon causes emotions to run high and we react without thinking because our shadow sides are engaged. We naturally respond to the world from our core fear. Those who are unaware of their shadow sides (most everyone in the matrix) are unconsciously driven by this hidden force. Stay grounded in good, clean fun and steer clear of the potential for volatile situations. Remember, this is a super-conjunction as well as a super Full Moon – people will go off the rails. Spend time in nature and reinforce the direct hit with Mother Earth. Taureans, Scorpios, and those with Taurus rising take heed: this energy is affecting you the strongest.
