Oneness From A Scientific Perspective

systemHelen Elizabeth Williams – Do you believe that we are all part of one large source? Continue reading and learn more about the “oneness” that connects us all together and its scientific implications.

According to the laws of nature, if a system is not intertwined with its environment, then it’s more likely that it simply doesn’t exist.

What is an isolated system? It is a system that functions independently of other systems that comprise our world. Now, the important question is: does an isolated system even exists? Continue reading

The Living Death of Perpetual Emergency

FearChris Floyd – The title of one of Christopher Logue’s multi-volume reworkings of Homer’s Iliad stands as the perfect encapsulation of our age: All-Day Permanent Red. We live in a time when the collective amygdala has been stoked into overdrive, sending messages of blank, blind fear that overwhelm the centers of reason, empathy and openness in our brains, propelling us into a state of inchoate anxiety that seeks release in tropes of extremist certainty and spasms of violence – active, verbal or vicarious.

This natural human propensity – which has waxed and waned in various forms over the centuries – has been magnified to the nth degree by the moral and psychological disfigurements of the Terror War. Today we also have the curse of 24/7 corporate news channels and the sleepless howling of the internet to batter the mind with an unending series of “urgent” dangers to our lives, our beliefs, our identities. This produces both a threat to tribal identities (political, religious, ethnic, racial, etc.), and a constant reinforcement of them – identities which we can see hardening across the spectrum in virtually every nation and culture.

A great deal of this is done deliberately. There are enormous profits and much power to be gained from war and rumors of war, from the militarization of society (including the police forces), and from the incessant stoking of fear at home and abroad. It is scarcely a secret that the United States has turned itself into a nation whose economic and political structures are now dependent on a globe-straddling system of military and economic domination.

There is only One Game and You Aren’t In The Know how to Play It

warKatherine Frisk – This is how the world works. You are brainwashed from an early age to believe you are playing scrabble, but you cannot understand why just when you seem to be getting the hang of it and making some headway for yourself and your family, you suddenly lose everything, and lose badly. That is because those who control the game are playing snakes and ladders. But you have never been taught to play snakes and ladders.

Here is one simple example. They convince you to invest your money in anything from the banking system to the stock exchange with the promise that you will get returns on your investment. So you do.

And yes for a while the system works and everyone benefits. They might keep this going for one generation, many even three, but then slowly, imperceptibly things start going wrong.

But by now you have so much faith in the system and that it will recover, that instead of taking everything out, you still hang in there in the hope that it will recover.

After all, the same people you trusted in the first place, told you it will. But it never does. Because they have been robbing it and finally when there is only an empty shell left, they declare default or bankruptcy but by then it is too late for you, because you have lost everything.

The same goes for any political system. Whether that is capitalism, socialism or communism. It does not matter.

As long as they can brainwash the masses to give of their time, their energy and their money, where the general population in all systems sees a very definite improvement in their lives, education, health, housing, security etc, they will become even more committed and give even more towards it believing that they will get the returns and not only for their family, but that their children and their grand children and their great-grandchildren will benefit for years to come.

Are You Ready for a Spiritual Revolution?

Wes Annac – If we want to create a new system out of the ashes of the old, we should think about the role we’ll play in creating it.

system We should figure out what we can do right now to reflect the paradigm shift the world needs, and we should remember that if we continue to be angry, greedy or judgmental, a new world will be impossible because we’ll fail create it from within.

Any changes we’re able to make will be nullified shortly after, because we’ll fail to heal the underlying cause of the world’s broken condition; namely, the anger and greed we’ll continue to sustain.

A Few Questions

There are a few questions we should ask ourselves if we really want to change the world.

The first is if we’re committed to what will undoubtedly be a stressful, strenuous process that will stretch us to the limit.

The second is if we’re willing work with people whom we consider different or whose presence might make us uncomfortable. Even the most enlightened person may still have latent prejudices they haven’t addressed, and addressing them is a crucial step in bringing the world together.

You Can’t Separate Empire, the State, Financialization and Crony Capitalism: It’s One Indivisible System

systemCharles Hugh Smith – Disagreement is part of discourse, and pursuing differing views of the best way forward is the heart of democracy. Disagreement is abundant, democracy is scarce, despite claims to the contrary.

If you think you can surgically extract Empire from the American System, force the State to serve the working/middle classes, end the stripmining of financialization, limit crony capitalism/regulatory capture and get Big Money out of politics–go ahead and do so. I’m not standing in your way–go for it. Continue reading
