Whole Foods pulls off elaborate five-year GMO labeling hoax

whole foodsMike Adams – Whole Foods Market, now owned by Amazon, has pulled off an elaborate five-year GMO labeling hoax that deceived its own customers while promoting the ongoing sales of genetically engineered foods. Back in 2013, under intense pressure from honest food advocates who exposed Whole Foods’ retailing of unlabeled GMOs, the food giant disarmed critics by promising that, by the end of 2018, everything it sells would be accurately labeled with its GMO content.

The clean food movement took Whole Foods at its word, backing off from pressuring the retailer, believing a significant victory had been achieved and that Whole Foods would keep its promise. Today, five years later, we now know that Whole Foods betrayed its customers and quietly walked away from its five-year promise to label GMOs on everything it sells. The original promise has now been revealed to be an elaborate corporate hoax that sought to deceive the very same Whole Foods customers who demand honest food labeling. Continue reading

Food Is Your Medicine, Not Pills

North Dakota

Marianna Pochelli, N.D. – In my experience as a Naturopathic Doctor, not just a few but virtually all diseases can be healed with the correct diet and absolutely no medication. Your body is capable of handling and recovering from any ailment provided you give it the appropriate terrain to heal. Supplements may at times be beneficial, but your true medicine is food and always has been.

Dr. Nandita Shah, a Pondicherry-based homeopath, says simple dietary changes can help prevent, and more importantly reverse, ailments like osteoporosis, diabetes and even high blood pressure without popping pills.

Shah, who has been a homeopathic practitioner for 30 years, says the biggest hurdle most of us encounter is that we fail to understand our body. “If you put kerosene in a car that runs on petrol, the car will break down,” Shah says, adding that the human body functions better if it consumes foods that are a better fit.

Jeff Bezos: Whole Foods No Longer Labels GMOs Because “They’re Safe”

whole foodsSean Adl-TabatabaiWhole Foods stores will no longer label products tarnished with GMOs following Jeff Bezos’ claims that GMO foods are “safe for human consumption.”

Globalist billionaire Jeff Bezos has justified the move by claiming that labeling GMO foods puts customers off from buying them.

Naturalnews.com reports: Back in 2012, when Whole Foods was desperately trying to quell customer concerns over genetically engineered ingredients found in thousands of grocery items sold at Whole Foods Market stores, Natural News released exclusive undercover video from the “Organic Spies,” exposing how Whole Foods deliberately trained its employees to lie to customers about GMOs.

With other groups like the Organic Consumers Association joining the effort to expose Whole Foods’ GMO deceptions, the grassroots outcry against Whole Foods was rapidly expanding, and the retailer scrambled to get in front of the GMO labeling issue to try to comfort customers.

In early 2013, the retailer announced it would adopt a “full transparency” GMO labeling policy by 2018. This March 8, 2013 press release from Whole Foods claimed, “[B]y 2018, all products in its U.S. and Canadian stores must be labeled to indicate if they contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Whole Foods Market is the first national grocery chain to set a deadline for full GMO transparency.”

Alexandra Bruce – In this shocking exposé by Mike Adams, we discover that Whole Foods, aka “Whole paycheck” is selling fairy tales and should probably be sued by the FTC under the Truth in Advertising clause.

Whole Foods partners with Monsanto to endorse fake GMO-labeling bill

– What is it about large corporations and transparency that the two seldom mix? And here’s another question: If you don’t have any morals or a soul, then is there ever a point where you think you’ve gone too far or have actually done something wrong?

labelingThese two questions immediately came to my mind when I read Natural News editor Mike Adams’ bombshell expose this week that organic food retailer Whole Foods has aligned itself with GMO-manufacturing giant Monsanto, to endorse what amounts to little more than sham legislation that, to the uninformed observer may appear to call for the labeling of GMO foods, but which really doesn’t. And what’s more, if companies don’t comply with the legislation it won’t matter, because there won’t be any penalties leveled against them anyway.

So, a “labeling” bill that won’t actually require GMO labeling or punish those who ignore it. Truly a piece of legislation made in today’s dysfunctional, ineffectual Washington, where the special interests actually “govern” the country via the puppets posing as lawmakers.

The (non) GMO labeling bill

Whole Foods, of course, has quickly come out to deny this, posting this partial response on the company’s Facebook page :

There is no truth to these claims. We have always advocated for more transparency in the marketplace, because we believe people have a right to know what’s in their food. That’s why we were the first (and are still the only) national grocer to set a deadline for GMO transparency in our U.S. and Canadian stores. Continue reading
