Are things getting a bit strange yet?

windowJill Renee FeelerThis could be a good thing! We are in a window of transformation and my best advice is to stay in observation mode until you feel clear about your chosen response. Your chosen response may surprise you, and possibly everyone around you.

We created this window, right here, right now. Some of us like to shake things up now and then… and then is now.

Dormant passions? Bring em’ out! Secret longings? Say them out loud as a stated desire, even to yourself. Things you’d love to do and wish you were doing but somehow never got it around to it? Never say never.

It is completely fine to be in seclusion and prefer to be in the background. And yet for some there are parts of our self that want to create, express and possibly be seen and heard. It is scary. I feel that, too.

This window of transformation can be scary, especially to those inner layers that fear being judged or persecuted and prefer to play it safe. This window can also be very, very liberating. Don’t be surprised if you see me rockin’ out in an online video, singing loudly to my favorite songs while in the car – my inner rock star is in there, terrified that I’m even writing this let alone thinking about doing it.

Additionally, I’ve had a passion for politics since my early 20’s and yet rarely speak publicly about what I see energetically and where I envision things may lead us. I don’t fit neatly in any party which makes things extra difficult when trying to explain my positions – we seem to want to put the party label on everyone and yet there may be most of us that don’t fit neatly into one/any.

For those in the US or those watching our crazy presidential election, you may have assumed all of us in a tribe like this vote one way (mainly Liberal/Democrat) and that none of us would ever vote for the other person. The characterizations are pretty limiting, on both sides. But, I’m finding there is much more variety in our tribe.

Every time I cautiously express my opinion (which tends to be for limited government and for increased personal freedoms; responsibility), I am pleasantly surprised at the fellow tribe member seeming to feel relieved that someone else feels the same way… It’s curious to me. The whole practice of believing that everyone in a group like this probably agrees and views things the same way.

For some reason it feels important for me to voice myself, possibly to give voice to others who feel similarly and feel alone in these views. Because in our own tribe we often don’t fit in… This doesn’t mean I’m a fan of party politics (I’m not). And this doesn’t mean a right wing fanatic (I’m not). But I may line up differently than you on key issues related to public policy.

And this is fully related to my Spirituality.

The Separation of Church and State has served the Separation Age very, very well. They are inseparable in many ways. No matter what one’s political beliefs there is some essence of their spiritual truths woven into it. They matter. They go together. And I would say they need to go together.

Our human experience is very multifaceted and complex. Public policy shapes our lives in many ways, as the recipients and as the tax paying financiers (willing or unwilling).

They go together. I sometimes wish my insights and revelations were only on “safe” and “popular” topics. But, my connection topics are not limited, in any way. So I will speak and I will share. From my soulfulness to yours. Trusting that when we see things differently, there is purpose in this. Knowing that by sharing ourselves as we each are led, we are streaming our divine energy into every nook and cranny of this beautiful and often strange world.

This window of transformation is at its peak from May 16 – June 14. Ready to be surprised with yourself? Ready to possibly stand out even more? Face it, we never really fit in anywhere anyway and this is a wonderful place for not fitting in. I see you. And I love what I see. Even where we may disagree. Disagreement no longer has to mean arguing, immature and dishonoring behavior or forcing another into our lane. Sometimes the only goal we may have is to be left alone, or to be free to be ourselves, or to be seen, or to be heard, or to be understood, or to share.

Feeling so much honor, so much love for this moment, for each of us here, standing in our truths, standing in our Soulfulness, confident that we matter and that we are valued by our being exactly what we are. We can’t “lose”.
