Andrea Schulman – Can you imagine the possibility of having money for nothing, and anything you want for free?
If not, that’s ok, because I can imagine it for you. And if I can imagine it for you, there’s a place in the universe where you know it too. But that’s neither here nor there in this conversation…
Your life (and everything in it) is given to you free of charge.
Ultimately, everything that rolls into your life is given to you freely, though it may not seem like it right now.
After all, it feels like we have to work for the money. It feels like we have to earn our baubles and prizes, doesn’t it? We must punch a clock, run from place to place, and exhaust ourselves for the things we desire it so often appears.
However, if you really look around, the vast majority of what you have has obviously been given freely:
♦ The air we breathe, the sun in our sky, the kindness of strangers? All free.
♦ The talents we possess, the beating of our hearts, our ability to make choices? Came included.
♦ Fun, laughter and excitement? Complimentary.
♦ Friends, family and neighbors? On the house.
♦ A hospitable planet to live on, full of all of the resources we require to live? No rent or mortgage paid to Mother Earth, she lets you live here for free.
What about hard work?
Now this isn’t to say that people DON’T work hard, or that their hard work doesn’t appear to sometimes be rewarded.
But perhaps something bigger and more substantial is at play in your receiving the things you want and need in life.
By the time we reach adulthood, we’ve often come to believe that you have to sacrifice in order to have, but this was not always the case for us.
Consider that every baby born into this planet knows absolutely nothing about hard work and sacrifice, and the majority of them end up getting exactly what they need to survive.
Also consider nature around you. Blades of grass don’t pay rent for their place in the lawn. Trees don’t cut a check for their water and sunshine. The things nature wants and needs are given freely.
And aren’t you and I living things that came from nature as well?
It’s just something to think about.
I know that you can have money for nothing and things for free, and if you don’t know it yet, that’s ok.
My job here today is simply to plant a seed in your mind (for free by the way) that what you receive doesn’t require your sacrifice. You can have what you need and want because it’s given freely, not because you have to prove your worth or struggle to get it.
Have an awesome day friends.
