American Liberty Report – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has laid down the law for her party’s crazy caucus, telling The Washington Post Magazine, “I’m not for impeachment.” Despite her slow and sad public decline into dementia, Pelosi still has enough of her faculties to know that she will lose the Speaker’s gavel in 2020 if she doesn’t rein in her nutjob underlings.
Washington is swirling with rumors that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russiagate Witch Hunt is about to wrap up. That means Democrats know they won’t be able to keep the entire collusion hoax propped up for very much longer.
The Dems have had to pivot from one lie to another so many times throughout the collusion hoax that they’ve erased their short-term memory. Just a year ago, Congressmen Al Green (D-TX) and Brad Sherman (D-CA) tried to force a vote on their Articles of Impeachment against the president.
Their bill would impeach President Trump for “obstruction of justice” because he fired James Comey.
The effort failed when 138 Democrats joined every Republican in the House to vote against it. Even with Democrats now in control of the House, the votes simply aren’t there for impeachment to succeed – and the effort would go nowhere in the Senate.
Another sign that they know Russiagate is a hoax, is the fact that Democrats don’t even bother to show up for closed-door hearings. The transcript of the Bruce Ohr interview, which was released by a fed-up Republican last week, shows that no Democrats even bothered to come to a joint hearing between the Oversight and Judiciary committees to hear Ohr’s testimony about Russian collusion.
Ohr was a key figure in the Russiagate hoax. He took thumb drives from dossier creator Christopher Steele and Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS and delivered them to an FBI handler. One of those thumb drives contained the infamous Trump-Russia dossier, paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC.
This was the chain of custody in the “case against Trump” – but the Democrats only sent a couple of lawyers to ask questions on their behalf More than 30 House Democrats on the two committees didn’t even bother to show up for the hearing.
They only go to Russiagate hearings when there are television cameras present, so they can showboat for their Antifa base and post it to their YouTube channels with catchy titles like, “Eleanor Holmes-Norton DESTROYS Michael Cohen – Is Trump About to Resign?”
When former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen appeared a couple of weeks ago, every Democrat showed up for those hearings. They wanted their time on camera. Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) was hilarious, demanding of Cohen, “Do you have any direct evidence that Donald Trump or the Trump campaign colluded with Russia? Well, do you? DO YOU????”
That was an incredibly rich performance from the former head of the DNC, considering that it was Hillary Clinton and Wasserman-Schultz who paid Fusion GPS millions of dollars for a hoax dossier that reads like a Russian version of the Canterbury Tales.
Another marker proving that it’s all a hoax and they all know it comes near the very end of the Bruce Ohr transcript. It was revealed by the House Judiciary Committee’s counsel, who asked Ohr if he was aware of the efforts of Daniel Jones – a former Senate Intelligence Committee staffer.
Jones left his job with the Intel committee to found the Penn Quarter Group – a company like Fusion GPS that conducts “investigations” for political dirt. George Soros and other wealthy Democrats pumped $50 million into the Penn Quarter Group to keep digging for Russian collusion evidence against Trump.
Bruce Ohr had no clue that Daniel Jones is spending George Soros’ money to find new Russia “evidence.” Which means that the Democrats’ dirty tricksters no longer have a conduit at the FBI or Justice Department to funnel their fake evidence to (because Peter Strzok and Lisa Page were both fired).
Pelosi’s big test now will be to see if she truly controls the Democrat Party, or whether the upstart socialist weirdoes are running the show. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar are not going to politely sit down and take no for an answer. They’re like screaming toddlers having a meltdown at the cash register.
Pelosi knows that impeachment will do three things: Fail spectacularly, lose control of the House in 2020 and ensure Trump’s reelection. Get your popcorn ready!
