Tucker Carlson blows lid on Democrat election conspiracy

GabbardFrank HolmesTucker Carlson is a lifelong conservative, but he’s gotten insider information that has blown the lid off the Democrat Party’s attempt to squash one of its own presidential candidates — because she’s too politically incorrect!

The DNC never wanted viewers to see or hear Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii…and they’ve pulled out all the stops to shut down her campaign.

If Gabbard were allowed to speak, she would have exposed just how out of control the party has become.

“The DNC is trying to basically send a message to the American people that they are the all-powerful gatekeepers and that they’re the ones who have the power to decide who should be considered to be our Democratic nominee or not,” Gabbard told Tucker. “The whole thing is a charade. And it doesn’t serve voters.”

She has plenty of reason to be upset. The DNC conspired to set up shadowy new rules just to keep her off ABC’s debate stage.

The party said over the summer that, to make it to the next round of debates, candidates have to clear two hurdles.

First, they have to get donations from at least 130,000 donors. Gabbard busted through that with 160,000 donors in all 50 states…in August.

Second, the DNC said she also had to poll at two percent in the polls. Again, no problem: Gabbard scores above two percent in the best polls in New Hampshire and South Carolina, and her national RealClear Politics average is twice as high as Amy Klobuchar, Cory Booker…and six-times higher than Julian Castro!

But they were all on the stage last night and Gabbard was at home. What gives?

The DNC said these can’t be just any polls: They have to be “qualifying” polls from the party’s official list of “approved sponsoring organizations/institutions”—and they conveniently wiped off every poll that showed Gabbard making the cut!

Why does the Democratic Party want to shut her up? There are a few reasons.

1. Tulsi Gabbard wouldn’t cover up the DNC’s rigged primaries.

Party leaders groomed Gabbard to be one of their own some day and made her a vice chairman of the Democratic Party in 2016—under Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

When Gabbard got a load of how the DNC rigged the primaries for Hillary Clinton, she stormed out. That was probably the moment party leaders realized she knew too much…and had to be stopped.

2. She doesn’t support open borders.

The Democrats have one defining issue: Erasing the southern border and bringing in enough immigrants to create a permanent Democrat voting majority. Gabbard isn’t on board with that, either.

“I don’t support open borders. Without secure borders, we don’t really have a country,” Gabbard said just this week. She admitted fellow Democrats “are pushing” for “essentially open borders.”

She even said “in some places, it may make the most sense to have a wall or some kind of physical barrier in place.”

3. She’s not for abortion until the day of birth.

Gabbard is pro-choice on abortion, but she doesn’t think it should be available until the baby is born, or maybe even later.

“Unless a woman’s life or severe health consequences is at risk, then there shouldn’t be an abortion in the third trimester,” Gabbard said.

4. She doesn’t hate America’s Christian majority.

When her fellow Democrats publicly shamed Trump judicial appointees for being Catholic, Gabbard—a Hindu—took them to the woodshed.

If a candidate “is ‘unqualified’ because of his Catholicism and affiliation with the Knights of Columbus, then President John F. Kennedy, and the ‘liberal lion of the Senate’ Ted Kennedy would have been ‘unqualified’ for the same reasons,” she said. “We must call this out for what it is—religious bigotry.”

5. She wants to stop endless wars and rebuild America.

Gabbard knows firsthand that war is hell. She’s a veteran whose hair started going gray from the stress of combat. That’s why she says the “central” message of her campaign is “war and peace.” She wants to end the war in Afghanistan and the Middle East…and even said it’s time to “put America First.”

All this is too much for the Democratic Party—and its billionaire donors. So, she was blacklisted—but that backfired, and she appeared on a much higher-rated Fox News network instead.

Republicans have to remember, Gabbard is still an ultra-liberal.

Conservative writer Charlie Buskirk begged Republicans to “remember that she’s outrageously wrong on almost every other major issue: gun rights, abortion, climate alarmism, government-run healthcare, you name it. She even offered tepid support for de facto party leader, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s half-baked Green New Deal.”

And “she steadfastly refuses to recognize China as a threat to American peace and prosperity.”

If she would ever get elected to office, she would be “not so much a political ally, as a reasonable, good faith opponent.”

But that would at least be a good trade up.
