Mercury Retrograde
To add fuel to the Leo fire this month, Mercury is turning retrograde this Saturday, August 12th, at 11° Virgo (its own sign) at 06pm PT/ 9pm ET. Mercury’s retrograde cycle will end at 28° Leo on September 5th. Mercury stations direct on the same degree of the Solar Eclipse!
Cosmic design emphasizes the total impact of these transits – acting like a galactic amplifier. Pay attention to where these placements shine in your life. The strongest aspect is Mercury opposing Neptune, which fuels paranoia, conspiracies, distrust and fear. Don’t feed the saber rattling provocations for war. This is not the time to believe everything you hear or read. Use higher intuition and discernment while Mercury-Neptune stirs up deception and grandiose braggadocio.
The Rising Feminine positions Venus conjunct Blue Star Sirius at 14° Cancer, emphasizing nurturing qualities of comfort, trust and honesty. Venus tempers Neptune’s deception with respect and unconditional love. We are being encouraged to switch focus from service-to-self (Leo) towards service-to-others (Virgo=Service, Aquarius=Others).
Solar Eclipse
The Solar Eclipse aligns with the royal star Regulus in the Leo constellation. The Solar Eclipse path will be visible across the entire United States. Regulus inspires bold, courageous, innovative steps in leadership. As humanity breaks free from imposed enslavement, tap into Leo’s reign of self-sovereignty and respect others as sovereign beings.
During the total Solar Eclipse, the Moon is blocking the Sun’s power. The blackout creates a collective ‘pause’ in a global reset point. While the solar light is extinguished, the world will be captivated in a global shift into a new direction. It is up to all of us to determine which direction we shift to – more destruction and greed, or a new paradigm of cooperation and community?
