Joseph P Farrell – Well, it has happened. Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy is the first Spanish premier in history to lose a vote of no confidence. And for a Madrid that seemed to be successfully emulating the Swampy Corruption Policies of Washington, D.C., that’s something.
Indeed, according to this Zero Hedge article shared by Mr. H.B., kickbacks, or pay to play, seemingly are at the heart of Senor Rajoy’s downfall:

As the article notes, however, the new premier is the Socialist Pedro Sanchez, leading a rag-tag coalition that was hastily thrown together for the simple purpose of ousting Senor Rajoy. In short, on the surface, nothing much has changed, because what is socialism but a swampy pay-to-play scheme, dressed up in the glowing utopian language of Marxism which, somehow, manages always to weave a spell so powerful that it convinces people to ignore the glaring hypocrisies of it all:
Bernie Sanders is a millionaire,
Lenin sleeps in a dacha and is chauffeured in a limo,
Congress “persons” from poor districts of LA somehow end up being multi-millionaires and somehow avoid being investigated, all the while virtue signaling everyone how very concerned and compassionate they all are.
Power to the people, er, the proletariat, er… whatever.
There is, as the article notes, not much by way of a common platform for the new government, unlike the situation in Italy, where the thoughts of the new coalition government of Signor Conte are more or less spelled out in the various party platforms of the parties comprising the coalition:
Socialist Party leader Pedro Sánchez, who becomes prime minister immediately, told lawmakers that his policy goals include bolstering social policies to address problems such as unemployment and poverty levels, both of which remain high despite Spain’s strong growth. Among Sanchez’ challenges will be managing the eurozone’s fourth-largest economy and dealing with internal problems such as the crisis in Catalonia.
For once, I am rather mystified at Zero Hedge’s reporting here, for beneath those two lapidary sentences lies a mountain of discontent in Spain.
The article does reference the nationalist aspirations of Catalonia and the Basques, and hints at one of the real issues driving politics in Spain when it mentions that Senor Sanchez wants to bolster “social policies to address problems such as unemployment and poverty levels, both of which remain high despite Spain’s strong growth.”
Such statements seem to me to be a rather watered-down Quixotic attempt to tilt at windmills while avoiding the obvious issue that Spaniards feel: their country, like others in M. Juncker’s and Mad Madam Merkel’s Europe, is being overrun with “immigrants” and “refugees”, from the completely different Mohammedan culture, and they refuse to assimilate (just ask Germans in Cologne, or Swedes in Malmo, or Britons in Lincolnshire, or Hungarians in Budapest, or…well, you get the idea).
The consequence is that Spain’s own youth cannot find jobs, and youth unemployment remains staggeringly high. The progressivist assault – if one may call it that – on the Spanish middle class actually footing the bill for all this madness has been horrendous. And of course, Spaniards, like everyone else in Europe, have been sermonized endlessly about how they cannot complain of these policies lest they be labeled “populist” or “nationalist” or “ultra-right wing”.
We all know the game plan, because it’s pretty much the same everywhere.
Add to this the “underground economy” of drug-running and so on – one of the real stories behind the Catalonia nationalist aspirations – and one has a first class mess that in its major points resembles the policies of The Swamp’s D.C. franchise. And that’s the point: the game plan is the same everywhere: assault on the middle class, because that’s the class that carries the culture and that consciously identifies with it, be that culture American, British, German, Swedish, or Spanish.
Mr. Globaloney doesn’t want that, because that culture is a constant reminder to him that his actions are immoral, or rather, amoral, and Italy’s new coalition government is already sending that message, loud and clear, as the following article shared by Ms. K.M. indicates:
War Erupts Between Italy’s Government And Soros: “You Profited From The Death Of Hundreds Of People”
Lest it be skimmed over lightly, Matteo Salvini, Italy’s new Minister of the Interior and Deputy Prime Minister behind Florentine lawyer Giuseppi Conte, has announced his intentions to deport some of Italy’s refugees, and Darth Soros was quick to respond with his own accusations and pay-to-play scheme:
In response, George Soros flipped out, openly suggesting that Salvini might be financed by Vladimir Putin, saying he is “very worried about Russia’s influence on Europe in general and on the new Italian government.”
Soros also admits in Italy’s Corriere della Sera newspaper that the League’s growing influence is a reflection on “Europe’s flawed migration policies that imposed an unfair burden on Italy.” His solution? Instead of resettling the migrants, the EU needs to pay Italy.
“It follows from the voluntary principle that the problem … cannot be addressed by forced resettlement, but only by the EU financially compensating Italy for the migrants that land there,” wrote Soros, who also warned “There is a strong inclination in Europe to use the occasion [of the new government] to teach Italy a lesson … If the EU follows this line, it will dig its own grave by provoking a negative response from the Italian electorate, which would then re-elect Movimento 5 Stelle and Lega Nord with an increased majority.”
No clearer statement of Mr. Gobaloney’s agendas could be had for why it hates Mr. Putin so much, for the latter has made it clear, in statement after statement, that the Russian government does not accept a global order of the corporations, by the corporations, and for the corporations, nor does it or will it accept the rape of Russia either economically or culturally by western technocrats.
Mr. Putin’s government may be oligarchical, but it is a Russian oligarchy running the show, not one based in the Harvard Endowment. The globaloney plan, on the other hand, so far, has produced chaos, because in typical technocratic fashion it completely ignores the influence and importance of culture as the coherent matrix molding and guiding policy. Indeed, such a scheme of technocratic and corporate governance could only emerge in Western culture for specific historical reasons, and thus it is as if the Globaloneyists want it both ways: they want to export that culture abroad while tearing it down at home.
Nothing could illustrate the self-contradictory narcissistic and psychopathic insanity of people like Soros than this.
Darth Soros’ comments did not go unanswered either, for they were met with a salvo from a leading economist with links to Italy’s new coalition government, Claudio Borghi, who pulled no punches:
“Soros worried by the Italian government? Then it means that we are going in the right direction… We understand that those who have speculated for years on the skin of immigrants, financing NGOs and smugglers to invade Italy (sic).
“The wind has changed for [Soros] and for all those who have profited from the deaths of hundreds of people.“
Indeed the wind has changed, and now Mr. Globaloney must tack against it, as Soros, with his new version of pay-to-play, appears to be attempting to do with his “we’ll pay you money for the suicide of your culture” scheme.
Now you can add Spain to the mix, for while it no longer commands a global empire, Spain is Europe’s fourth largest economy, behind Italy’s third, and that means Mad Madam Merkel’s and M. Juncker’s technocratic non-national vision of Europe is crumbling. The issue is cultural, and that means that while these new coalition governments in Madrid and Rome may fall, the issue will not go away.
