[Wesak Full Moon] is the holiest day of the year, the most important Spiritual Festival and the high point of the entire year.  At the time of this powerful Full Moon, both the Buddha and the Christ come forth to initiate those that are ready into the next level of their spiritual evolution, which brings forth an awareness of their part in the Divine Plan to bring about Heaven on Earth and the New Earth. ~ The Councils of Ascended Masters

The Wesak Festival is a great spiritual event, which has a powerful effect upon everyone. Its influence has always been there, but unknown to the majority of humanity. At the time of Wesak, two great streams of spiritual energy—one focused through the Buddha and the other focused through the Christ–are fused and blended, and released to humanity.

The Wesak Festival offers a great spiritual opportunity for you. Great expansion of your consciousness is possible, which is not possible at other times. The wonder of your own divinity, the beauty of the divine in every one, and your part of the Plan for ascension into the New Earth is revealed more clearly.

You can align with what is happening today. Every year at the time of this Full Moon, a sacred ceremony is performed in a valley at a very high altitude in the foothills of the Himalayas.This valley is surrounded by very high mountains and an energetic force-field that allows only those physically ready for these initiations to enter the narrow opening in the mountain range.

Visualize this now ~ you very likely have been here in your deep sleep, year after year. The valley is bottle shaped with the neck of the bottle to the northeast. And it widens quite a bit toward the south. Toward the northern end, close to the neck of the bottle, there is a huge flat rock. The valley is covered with a coarse grass. There are no trees or shrubs, but the sides of the mountain are covered with trees.

As the full moon approaches, those who are awakened and working with the Ascended Masters and Archangels from all the surrounding districts begin to gather. The holy men, the llamas, find their way into the valley, and fill the southern and the middle parts, leaving the northeastern end relatively free. And then a group of those great beings gather who are the custodians on Earth of the plan of God for your planet and for humanity.

The esoteric meditators refer to them as the Masters of Wisdom, the Masters of Light. They are also called the rishis, in Hindu scriptures, or the Society of Illumined Minds, in Tibetan teaching. They are a group of perfected humanity who have entered within the veil, leaving us an example of how it is done. With their wisdom, their love and their knowledge, they stand as a protective wall, around the whole of humanity, seeking to lead you on, step by step, from darkness to light, from the unreal to the real, from death to immortality, from chaos to beauty.

These groups, these high beings, are the main participants in this festival. They are standing in the northeastern part of the valley. There are three great Lords in front of them. One is the Christ, who stands in the center. The other is called the Manu, or The Lord of Living Forms. He stands on the right hand. And the Lord of Civilization, who stands on the left of the Christ.

These three Lords face the rock. A great crystal bowl full of water rests on the rock. Behind the masters and the adepts, initiates, and senior workers, are the world disciples and the aspirants in their various  groups. One does not have to be there in a physical body to be present. Many have had dreams of this place, not knowing of this ceremony, and yet knowing vividly that they were present and witnessing the entire event that was about to happen. You can choose to be present there in your spiritual body, in the conscious or dream state.

As the hour of the full moon approaches, a stillness settles down upon the crowd. Everyone looks to the northeast. There is a great expectancy building in the crowd. The tension increases. Through the entire body of people this highly potent vibration has the effect of awakening the souls of everyone present, of fusing and blending the group into one united whole, and lifting everyone into a great act of spiritual readiness and expectancy. This is the moment of the climax of the world’s aspiration, all focused in this group.

Imagine yourself  there now: See yourself as one of the participants, with your eyes raised toward the sky in the direction of the narrow part of the valley. A few minutes before the exact time of the full moon of Taurus, in the far distance will appear a tiny speck in the sky. It comes nearer and nearer. It grows in clarity until the outline is clear, and  the form of the Buddha can be seen, seated in the cross-legged Buddha position, clad in his saffron-colored robe, bathed in light and color, with his hand extended in blessing.

When He arrives at a point exactly over the great rock, He hovers there in the air, over the heads of the three great lords. And a great mantram is said which is only used once a year at this festival. It is spoken by the Christ:

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the mind of God
Let Light stream forth into the minds of humanity.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the heart of God
Let Love stream forth into the hearts of humanity.
May Christ Consciousness and Unity return to Earth.

From the center where the Will of God is known
Let Purpose guide the little human wills,
The Purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the center which we call the human race
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where darkness dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

OM OM OM

The entire group of people in the valley fall to their knees and then touch their faces to the Earth. This invocation has set up a great vibration, a thought current, which is of such potency that it reaches up from the whole group to the mind of God. It marks the supreme moment of intensive spiritual practice for the whole year. The spiritual vitalization and the spiritual effects will last for 12 months.

The blessing is poured forth from Buddha, and the Christ, as the representative of humanity, receives it in trust, and begins to distribute it.  Slowly the Buddha recedes into the distance, until again only a faint speck can be seen in the sky, and this eventually disappears. The whole ceremonial blessing lasts 8 minutes, from the time of the first appearance in the distance until the moment the Buddha fades out of view. The Buddha’s annual blessing to humanity is over. Then he returns again, to that high place where he works for the ascension of humanity and the actualization of the Divine Plan for Peace on Earth.

Year after year He comes back in blessing. Year after year he and his great brother the Christ work in the closest cooperation to spiritually uplift humanity. They are bringing the highest type of spiritual force that humanity can respond to. The wisdom of God pours through the Buddha. The love of God pours through the Christ, and it is this wisdom and this love which pours through upon humanity at each Wesak ceremony.

Now the crowd rises to its feet. The water in the bowl that has been infused with the blessing of the Buddha and the Christ is distributed in tiny portions to the masters and the initiates and the disciples. The crowd has brought their own cups and vessels of water. They drink from them, and share them with others. It is called the water ceremony of communion.

The water has been magnetized by the presence of the Buddha and the Christ. And it carries certain properties and virtues that are healing and helpful. Having received and assimilated this blessing, the crowd silently disperses. The masters and the disciples return with renewed strength to undertake another year of world service of the ascension of humanity, ushering in a New Golden Age of Freedom and the co-creation of a New Earth.

Now that you know what is happening this day, you can also receive this powerful blessing by envisioning yourself in this sacred valley and feeling yourself drinking this water infused with the blessings of wisdom from the Buddha and unconditional love from the Christ.
