Make Sure Your Hard Earned Money Gets to Your Loved Ones! Here’s How

There’s no doubt it gets a bit tough for those living away from families or significant others, or with kids studying in a different country or state. Sometimes the only thing you can send as a reminder that you care is a sum of money. Whether it’s birthday money, tuition money, or money for general expenses, you need a way to send it. That’s what this article is about – how to deliver this money.

You may know it by its former name, Square Cash. The application offers a money transfer service for anyone in the United States. So, if you, and your loved ones happen to live in the U.S., you can use the app, or even an email to transfer money. On the one hand, there’s the advantage of not having to pay an additional charge. On the other hand, however, there’s the drawback of having to stick to a 2,500$ per week limit. That being said, the money transferred can be used within the app itself to pay for other transactions, or your recipients can claim it through their bank accounts using a link provided by the app itself.

Now, if you happen to be living abroad, or if the person whom you’re sending the money to are not in the U.S., there’s no need to worry. This website offers international money transfer services in exchange for a small fee. One one side, you are limited to paying in British Pounds; yet, for your loved ones, you can choose to send the money in any available currency. Using a bank account, credit, debit, or the PayNearMe company, you can send any amount you want, as well as, control how they receive it; through a bank account, or in cash. In fact, if you want, you can even have it delivered to their homes.

Chase QuickPay

This service, as the name suggests is owned by Chase Bank in the U.S. The service mainly operates on a bank transfer basis where a Chase customer is allowed to send money to customers of Bank of America, Wells Fargo, or any other members of the clearXchange Payments Network. While you can only transfer money to and from U.S. Banks, you may be paying an added fee, albeit for a good reason. Since, the service is run by Chase Bank, one of the largest in the U.S., you get the added element of highly secure transactions. So, technically, you won’t just be throwing money away.

Sending Money Couldn’t be Easier

So, as you’ve seen in the examples we’ve provided, there are three general types of methods you can use to send money to your loved ones. You can use an app to transfer money for free within a specific area, or you can use an international money transfer service in exchange for a certain fee, or you can stick to secure P2P bank transactions; also in exchange for a fee. With that being said, our final advice is to make sure you trust the service you’re using; even if it means paying extra.
