The Alabama Republican Party issued a statement on Thursday supporting Senate candidate Roy Moore in the December race to replace Jeff Sessions.
BREAKING: Alabama GOP says it stands by Senate nominee Judge Roy Moore, 'trusts the voters' to make decision in the race.

“The ALGOP Steering Committee supports Judge Roy Moore as our nominee and trusts the voters as they make the ultimate decision in this crucial race,” state party chair Terry Lathan said in a statement.
“Judge Moore has vehemently denied the allegations made against him. He deserves to be presumed innocent of the accusations unless proven otherwise. He will continue to take his case straight to the people of Alabama.”
And popular Rep. Mo Brooks, who ran against Judge Moore in the primary, released a statement in support of Roy Moore.
I was born in Alabama and lived here all my life. I am not a fan of Roy Moore and voted for Mo Brooks in the primary. I was planning on sitting out the Dec 12 election. Now I will be voting for Roy Moore because this is obviously a witch hunt led by McConnell.
