Annaliese Levy – Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) announced Thursday he’s running for governor of New York in 2022 against current Governor Andrew Cuomo, saying it’s time for Cuomo to “immediately exit stage left.”
Zeldin, a longtime GOP congressman and friend of the Trump family, will be the first Republican to launch a campaign against three-term Gov. Cuomo in 2022.
“I’ll bring the kind of relentless, fighting spirit towards helping to save our state that Cuomo reserves for multi-million dollar self-congratulatory book deals, cover-ups, abuse & self-dealing,” Zeldin said Thursday. Continue reading
