Kristinn Taylor – The leading newspaper in New Mexico, the Albuquerque Journal, published a house editorial on Sunday urging the state’s Congressional delegation–comprised completely of Democrats–to compromise with President Trump and support his bid for a border wall. The Journal detailed the deadly situation on the state’s border with Mexico, asking Democrats, “How can anyone with a conscience let that continue?”

Both New Mexico’s senators are Democrats, as are all three of the state’s Congressmen, as is the governor and the mayor of Albuquerque.

The Journal editorial notes that Trump offered a compromise only to be ignored by Democrats not interested in negotiating on a wall out of spite: “…rather than come back with a counter, the Democrats – including our own delegation – insisted on playing politics, rejecting it out of hand because of their dislike of Trump.” Continue reading

Congress Should Worry More About What Happens After We Build the Wall

wallMark Patricks – A couple of weeks ago we would have given optimistic 51/49 odds that President Trump is getting the wall built. The media, the Democrats and Congress still haven’t figured out that for those of us on America’s side, it’s really not about Trump. If Trump fails to deliver on the wall, that will be really sad… because next time we will elect Hitler if that’s what it takes to save our country from the foreign invading hordes.

Today, the wall is a done deal. It’s getting built. Pelosi and Schumer own the shutdown and even Cher is begging for relief and telling them to give Trump the money. What Congress really needs to worry about at this point is what happens after we get the wall.

First, there’s been a lot of stupidity on the airwaves when it comes to what President Trump has authority to do if he declares a national emergency. No one was worse at this than Never-Trump Judge Napolitano on Fox News. Napolitano stated that in his analysis of the law, Trump can’t spend funds on the wall in the event of a national emergency unless Congress has appropriated the funds for the wall. Continue reading

Trump Touts Other Border Walls Around The Globe As ‘Close To 100 Percent Successful’

trumpEvie Fordham – President Donald Trump touted walls around the world as “close to 100% successful” in solving problems Wednesday as he continues to push for over $5 billion in funding for a southern border wall.

“There are now 77 major or significant Walls built around the world, with 45 countries planning or building Walls,” Trump wrote on Twitter Wednesday. “Over 800 miles of Walls have been built in Europe since only 2015. They have all been recognized as close to 100% successful. Stop the crime at our Southern Border!” Continue reading
