Green New Steal

global eliteJames Gilliland – We have already talked about the pitfalls of socialism. Centralizing the power and wealth always ends up in tyranny. Decentralizing power and wealth leads to freedom and prosperity.

When in the past has socialism increased the prosperity and freedom of the people? The big question is why are universities and high schools pushing socialism as the fix all system of government?

History has proven centralizing the power and wealth in control of a few leads to tyranny and genocide. Offer the freebies. Make promises impossible to keep. Centralize power and wealth. Take control of the military. Disarm the people. Remove all opposition. This is the sequence of events. Is it looking familiar?

Good news! Neither your President or the military are buying it.

I Grew Up in a Communist System — Here’s What Americans Don’t Understand About Freedom

freedomCarmen Alexe – Individual freedom can only exist in the context of free-market capitalism. Personal freedom thrives in capitalism, declines in government-regulated economies, and vanishes in communism. Aside from better economic and legislative policies, what America needs is a more intense appreciation for individual freedom and capitalism.

I was born and raised in communist Romania during the Cold War, a country in which the government owned all the resources and means of production. The state controlled almost every aspect of our lives: our education, our job placement, the time of day we could have hot water, and what we were allowed to say.

Like the rest of the Eastern European countries, Romania was often referred to as a communist country. In school, we were taught it was a socialist country. Its name prior to the 1989 Revolution to overthrow the Ceausescu regime was the Socialist Republic of Romania. Continue reading

Economist Who Predicted Brexit and Trump Brilliantly Explains Capitalism’s Collapse [Video]

Alexandra Bruce – Jimmy Dore breaks down the task that lays head for Progressives, by showing a recent statement by Brown University Economics professor, Mark Blyth.

Blyth accurately predicted Brexit and Trump and he explains in plain English (with his fabulous Scottish burr) how globalization and capitalism are failing people throughout the world – and why this means that more Brexits and Trumps are on the way – starting with Italy, France and Spain.

As Dore notes, the last time the world saw CEO-to-worker pay discrepancy as high as 475-to-1 was during the Third Reich. The NeoLiberalism of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is exactly that: Fascism – or what “Il Duce”, Benito Mussolini preferred to call “Corporatism”.

If Capitalism is dead, this is why

“An era of corruption is built for those who lead corrupt lives. They revel in the era. They belong. They are home. They don’t care what you call the prevailing system, they’ll find their way, because they know the unspoken rules and how things actually work. Naïve idealists and academic hair-splitters? The corrupt eat them for breakfast.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

CapitalismJon Rappoport – The recent acceleration of attacks on capitalism leaves no ground un-scorched. Whatever capitalism is, it’s all bad. It needs to be banned. A wiser and saner alternative must be found—and naturally that alternative will be handed down from Above, where wondrous altruists in government can point us toward the Promised Land.

For the sake of humanity, they will assume the reins of power. They’ll organize businesses and companies and corporations under the umbrella of government, and all will be well.

Forget the fact that they cooperate and collude and conspire and commit crimes with their erstwhile corporate and banking partners. That’s a minor footnote.

Merriam-Webster defines capitalism as: “an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market.”

Boiling it down further: you start a company; you own the company; you make a product and you sell it at a price you determine. People buy the product if they choose to.

This arrangement is not evil. You could turn it into a criminal enterprise, if you wanted to. For example, you could make a product that is poison, advertise it as medicine, and pay off those who might expose your ruse. But in that case, you’ve perverted the primary capitalist arrangement.

You would be prosecuted, if discovered. Well, you would be, if law-enforcement personnel were honest. If they weren’t, you could get away with murder.

Now, suppose there are 10,000 companies who do get away with murder. Suppose, to take things further, there are governments who collude with some of these companies and go to war, against other nations, so the companies can obtain access to raw materials they want, in order to manufacture their products.
