SagittariusLorna Bevan – During the two weeks between November 30th and December 14th we are in the geo-physical seismic window of two eclipses. This is a place of potential, an opening, a place of choice and evolution, whose effects will ripple out until next June 2021. The eclipses light up the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of information and communication – a theme that is central to the radically different astrology of 2021.

The Sirian Eclipse Gateway

The Sun in Cancer is conjunct Sirius , the brightest Star in the sky, activating the sensitive trigger-happy midpoint of the July 2 and 16th eclipses, aligning with the Gods of Change – Saturn, the Node of Fate, Neptune and Pluto. Mars in fiery Leo is at odds with volatile Uranus and Mercury who is kicking up a dust storm by turning retrograde.

August 2017 Energy Report

augustJennifer Hoffman – July’s theme was ‘energetic significance’ and anything that was not going to align with the energy in our life and make a significant contribution to its expansion, versus a significant deduction, was on its way out. This prepared us for August which now expands the theme of ‘energetic significance’ even more and moves us closer to our ascension goals of divine congruence, the theme of 2017 (read the 2017 predictions here). With two strong retrogrades and eclipses, we may feel a little out of control, like we’re taking the corners on two wheels but it’s all in divine order and we’re still in charge and driving the car, as long as we remember to keep the transformation moving forward.

The eclipses and retrogrades of August are highly connected because they repeat signs and degrees. For example, Uranus starts to retrograde at 29 Aries as the Mercury pre-retro shadow period begins at 28 Leo and ends at 28 Leo on September 4, which is also the sign and degree of the August 21 eclipse.

The August 7 eclipse is at 15 Aquarius and Mars, very powerful this month, is at 15 Leo, exactly opposite, on the day Mercury begins its retrograde motion. And the moon’s nodes are in Leo and Aquarius too, adding energy to these powerful  signs that represent creativity and community. Spiritual Warriors With Blankets to Darn

Sarah Varcas –  April begins as the recent eclipse season comes to a close. This may cue a sigh of relief for some, even though eclipses continue to resonate through our lives for several months. Last month was fairly intense and may have left us feeling somewhat battle worn! The challenges to our sense of self and personal autonomy may have felt harsh and left us wondering whether there’s any real hope of change or just more of the same old struggles in different packaging! Thankfully the second half of April provides ample opportunity to refresh and regroup, offering inner space in which to consider where we go from here.

Prior to that, however, there are some powerful forces to reckon with as the Sun crosses the brewing Uranus/Eris conjunction in Aries, between 6th and 15th April. Impatience may rule the day and old frustrations rise up unbidden. Whatever the surface issues may be, this conjunction of the Sun with two disruptive forces (and squared by Pluto for good measure!) augurs the upwelling of ancestral and collective pain which may overwhelm our everyday experience, super-charging our reactions and unleashing powerful emotions out of proportion to the matter at hand. The Uranus/Eris conjunction is releasing from the collective psyche repressed pain and issues ignored for too long by too many. We are the conduits for those feelings and are all beholden to find the highest and wisest way to channel them for good.
