How To Deprogram Yourself

Gregg Prescott, M.S. – Society has undergone a mass brainwashing and it is time for us to deprogram ourselves in order to be completely immersed in the evolution of consciousness.

1. Religion

If a UFO were to land in your backyard tonight, I promise the ET will not have either a bible or money.  Religion has been the longest running form of mind control on the planet and has served to not only keep us separated, but to depopulate the world through numerous wars, Inquisitions and Crusades in the name of “God”. I’m Not Qualified

I have taught high school English in the public schools for twenty yearsAmie Adamson – I have taught high school English in the public schools for twenty years in three states, including two red states and a deep blue state.  I have taught mainstream English, honors English, and remedial English.  I’ve worked in alternative schools, high-poverty schools, large high schools serving mostly English learners, and predominantly white, middle-class schools.

Last month I let my teaching license expire.  For the first time since 1998, I am no longer qualified to be a teacher in my home state of Kansas.  When I consider the public education landscape not only in the Midwest, but across the country, it is with sadness that I think, “Not qualified to teach secondary English anymore? You’re right.” Continue reading

Why the Education War Matters

Paul Krause – Don’t let liberals shame you over the education war. They will try to present themselves as the defenders of education, all that is right and just about the misunderstood purpose of education. In reality, they are seeking to utilize education as a medium for their political propaganda. Nothing is safe. Calling them out, protecting your children, and taking a battering ram to the rotten core of education is necessary for all patriots if we are to save our country and our children.

The rot in higher education is well-known. (I say this as a graduate of Yale.) The rot emerging in primary education is not as well-known, though it is becoming more so as the days go by. This is a blessing in disguise. Continue reading

Think about schooling choices for children

Not so long ago, schooling seemed like a fairly rigid structure, with few choices to select from. You may want to look at different options such as homeschooling or classroom schooling, as well as the many varieties of teaching methodologies available. Then there’s the choice of private or public school. Continue reading

K-12: Horrifying yet Fascinating

education
Bruce Deitrick Price – Conjoined twins.  Bearded ladies.  Pinheads.  Eight-foot men.  Human skeletons.  Alligator and lobster boys.  A mother with four legs.

Few can say they are not irresistibly intrigued by freak shows.

Medical abnormalities, grotesque life forms, the deeds of serial killers – the mind struggles to rationalize these oddities and outrages.  For example, how does a calf have two heads?  How do we  account for Albert Fish, who infamously commented, “I like children. They are tasty”?

Many find the same sick appeal in K-12 theories and methods.  These often constitute a Ripley’s Believe It or Not of classroom anomalies, a News of the Weird about public education – for example, college students who don’t know which side won the Civil War.

professor at Notre Dame sums up our predicament: “We have fallen into the bad and unquestioned habit of thinking that our educational system is broken, but it is working on all cylinders.  What our educational system aims to produce is Acultural amnesia, a wholesale lack of curiosity[.]”
