Lessons from the 3 Most Controversial Social Psychology Experiments

Amanda Wilks – In 1961, Stanley Milgram, a Yale psychologist began a series of experiments to analyze obedience in relation to an authority figure. The experiment involved three people: the Experimenter, who played the role of the authority figure, the Teacher, who was a volunteer, and was instructed to obey the indications they were given by the authority figure, and lastly, the Learner, a person who played the part of another volunteer, but was in fact an actor placed in the experiment by the researchers.

The Experimenter instructed the Teacher to read out a series of word pairings to the Learner, who had to memorize them. If they answered incorrectly, the Teacher was to administer an electric shock to the Learner. The volunteers were given a sample shock, and they were told the intensity would gradually increase every time the Learner made a mistake, up to a maximum of 450 volts.

The Learners were not in fact being shocked. However, the Teachers had no way of knowing that, since they could not see the Learners. Instead, the actors showed increasing levels of discomfort, as the voltage “increased,” to the point where, in the end they were screaming in agony.

In the first set of experiments, over half of the participants administered this final voltage.

CIA’s Top Secret And Psychological Mind Control Technique Experiments

experimentsHubPages.com – During the 1950s and 60’s the United States’ Central Intelligence Agency and U.S Department of Defense conducted a series of top-secret projects and experiments into both brainwashing and mind control, after intelligence gathered had revealed that the Soviets had been conducting human trials into the use of mind control and hypnosis and that the Korean’s had been using American POW’s for brainwashing experiments before killing them during the Korean War, this sparked a psychological warfare race in which the Americans and Soviets competed.

Psychological Warfare and Weltenshunkrieg

The actual dictionary definition of ‘psychological warfare‘ as referenced by dictionary.com is “the use of propaganda, threats and other psychological techniques to mislead, intimidate, demoralize, or otherwise influence the thinking or behaviour of an opponent.” Modern-day psychological warfare sees its origins in Nazi Ideology during the second world war in the form of what the Nazis called ‘Weltenshunkrieg’ (pronounced ‘Welten-shun-kreeg’). This was the idea of imposing the Nazi’s world view and beliefs onto the countries they’d occupied in an attempt to bestow the Nazi beliefs amongst the majority of the world’s population. This type of human behaviour manipulation was adapted and renamed ‘psychological warfare’.

control Michelle Walling – H.A.A.R.P. stands for High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program. It is owned by the military.

It is located near Tok, Alaska in the Copper River Valley about halfway between Fairbanks, Alaska and Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada. It has the distinction of being the world’s most powerful radio transmitter. It generates over 3.6 billion watts of power, making it more powerful than all of the commercial radio and television broadcasting transmitters on the entire planet combined. It is also the first directional ionospheric heater.

It can change the weather, and set off earthquakes. It can deliver an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) anywhere in the world and thereby disable any and all microelectronic devices in the target area. It can change the harmonic vibrations of the earth to set off tsunamis, raise or lower land formations, heat or cool the surface of the earth, it can raise and lower the ionosphere. It can also change the orbit of the Earth, the moon and other planets, set of massive solar mass ejections and destroy whole planets. If not used with great care, it can backlash to the user and cause the destruction of the entire planet Earth.

Examples of the power of such technology include the Valles Marineris on Mars, the planet Malona, which is now the asteroid belt, the Hyginus Rille on the Moon and the corkscrew patterns on Europa.

The Soviets were permeating the power grids within the U.S. and bouncing the signals into our homes in the 1970’s and 1980’s with their HAARP-like device, which was much smaller and unidirectional. The prime transmitter for these signals was powered by the Chernobyl nuclear reactor before it was destroyed.
