Biden Is Dealing with Border Crisis

borderNiamh Harris – The fruit of President Biden’s border policies are growing into a humanitarian crisis. There has been a tripling of children detained at the US border and crossings are set to hit record levels.

The administration however, is refusing to acknowledge it has a crisis on its hands and the White House remains unprepared to answer even the most basic questions about what is going on and how they plan to handle it.

The New York Times reported that the number of unaccompanied migrant children detained along the southern US border had tripled in the last two weeks to more than 3,250. These children are filling the same Customs and Border Patrol facilities that Biden himself called “Inhumane” during his 2020 campaign, and the “overflow shelters”, opened by the Biden administration, are now almost at capacity. Supreme Court Lifts Injunctions On Trump Asylum Policy In Reversal Of Lower Courts

injunctionJonathan Turley – The Supreme Court handed The Trump Administration a major win yesterday by lifting all injunctions on the new Trump asylum policy being enforced. That policy could result in a drastic reduction of asylum claims along the Southern Border since anyone who passes through another country like Mexico would have to first seek asylum in that country. The ruling is also a strong rebuke to the lower courts, particularly United States District Court Judge Jon Tigar in San Francisco who issued multiple orders to try to impose a national injunction.

Many judges and commentators have expressed concern over the increasing practice of trial judges to issue nationwide injunctions rather than injunctions confined to their district or their circuit. Most recently  Attorney General William Barr wrote an opinion piece in The Wall Street Journal objecting to the fact that the Trump Administration has already faced twice the number of nationwide injunctions that were imposed against the Obama Administration. Trump To End Illegal Immigrant Welfare Scams

TrumpConservative Zone – Hard-working, low-income immigrant families can take a breath of fresh air now that President Donald Trump has expanded a federal rule ending welfare scams for people who are in the country illegally. For too long, Americans have been taken advantage of by non-citizens scamming the system.

Democrats and biased media outlets are already unleashing false propaganda that the Trump Administration is excluding working-class immigrants from lawfully becoming U.S. citizens. Nothing could be further from the truth.

“Through the public charge rule, President Trump’s administration is reinforcing the ideal of self-sufficiency and personal responsibility, ensuring that immigrants are able to support themselves and become successful in America,” acting director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Ken Cuccinelli said.
