Flynn Free. Case Exposes Depth Of Operation Against Trump Admin

General FlynnSara Carter – Michael Flynn is free.

I always believed it was bound to come to this, mainly because the government officials involved in investigating Flynn, the same ones who targeted President Donald Trump, were sloppy narcissists that operated for years with impunity because of their brash arrogance. Another reason I believed he would be free is because he was always innocent of the charges and Sidney Powell, his new defense attorney, is tenacious enough to never give up until all the evidence is uncovered.

After all, the investigation against Trump and Flynn was just ancillary for former Director of the FBI James Comey, former Assistant Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok, as well as the most senior officials in then Obama’s administration, to include the president and Vice President Joe Biden.

Powell Files Stunning Motion Against Gleeson: It’s a ‘wrap-up smear’ against Flynn

Sidney PowellSara Carter – Sidney Powell, the defense attorney for Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, filed a scathing response in the court Wednesday against federal Judge John Gleeson’s amicus brief, which asked the court to reject the Justice Department’s request to drop all charges against Flynn.

Powell’s motion is powerful and contains a lengthy time-line revealing the stunning evidence discovered by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, as well as, the litany of new evidence uncovered by U.S. Attorney Jeffery Jensen, who was appointed by the Justice Department to conduct an independent review of Flynn’s case.

Powell argues in her brief that the “irony and sheer duplicity” of Gleeson’s accusations “against the Justice Department now—which is finally exposing the truth—is stunning.” Continue reading “Powell Files Stunning Motion Against Gleeson: It’s a ‘wrap-up smear’ against Flynn”

Joe diGenova on Judge Sullivan in the General Flynn Case: “He’s Like Captain Ahab Going After Moby Dick!” [Video]

diGenovaJoe Hoft – Former US Attorney Joe diGenova was on ‘Mornings in the Mall’ for his regular Monday morning discussion about news in the Washington D.C. area.  This Memorial Day edition was memorable for sure.

The first topic of discussion was the General Flynn case where the judge overseeing the case is making up the law in order to prosecute General Flynn after both parties (the US government and Flynn) agreed to end the trial due to there being no crimes in the case.  In addition, the government withheld information pertinent to General Flynn which was against the law. D.C. Circuit Gives Sullivan 10 Days To Defend His Flynn Orders

Emmett SullivanJonathan Turley – We have been having a spirited debate over the orders of U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan in the case of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.  Now, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia has given Judge Sullivan ten days to respond to the motion for his removal.  The language is not discretionary so Sullivan will likely to have address the two controversial orders issued after the filing of the motion to dismiss.

In particular, he will have to state directly to the D.C. Circuit his understanding of his own discretion in such matters. I have maintained that the law in this areas is clear and that Sullivan has little ground upon which to deny this motion.

The order is interesting in its language: Continue reading “D.C. Circuit Gives Sullivan 10 Days To Defend His Flynn Orders”
