The Left’s LGBTQ+ Hit Squad

The Left's LGBTQ+ Hit SquadSteve Feinstein – Among the many examples of how cynically the progressive Left exploits fringe special-interest groups to do their political bidding, none is more stark than the callous manner in which they manipulate the LGBTQ+ crowd.

Progressives have fashioned the LGBTQ+ group into a political “mafia.” Their job is to strike fear into the neighboring community, attempt to exert influence over events to their own benefit and just generally intimidate the surrounding society at large by forcing them to act in any manner the mafia wants.

Bragg vs. the Windmills

Bragg vs. the WindmillsJ. R. Dunn – It has always been my contention, drawn from long experience along with wide reading, that the American Left is fundamentally stupid. This is both in a general and particular sense. You have to be a little dense – more than a little – to accept left-wing ideas in the first place. But even among the Left in general, American leftists have a thick-headedness all their own.

European leftists have often been true intellectuals – people who do the reading, who are open to debate, who believe in ideas. But American lefties are simply punks. They think only in terms of slogans. They can’t reconcile experience and ideas.

Laughter required for the Lies of the Left

Laughter required for the Lies of the LeftD. Parker – We are in a battle between good and evil, but evil cannot be honest about its true nature so it must lie.

The New Saint Andrews College recently produced a very powerful video entitled LIES, with the thesis that lies lose all their power when the deceived become wise. With laughter being the best weapon against these lies, it’s the ‘assault weapon’ of choice in the cultural civil war in which we are engaged.

This is why the fascist far-left hates President Trump, Tucker Carlson, and others — because they puncture their lies and have a good time doing it. Continue reading

Never Forget that We are America

Christopher Chantrill – Everyone’s having a grand old time celebrating the end of the Bush-Cheney dynasty. Then, we all ask, what comes next? Most people dive into the details of the next politics here and here. I’ve done the same here.

But I think we need to think first about who we are. And who our enemies are, because “there is no politics without an enemy.”

Job One is to celebrate who we are. And “who we are” is the heart and soul of America. Continue reading

Let’s Talk Red Meat instead of Word Salad

liberals todayChristopher Chantrill – I’ve been wading through a lot of political word salad lately. Here’s conservative Glenn Ellmers kale-ing about Bill Voegeli being a meany-jelly-beanie. It has something to do with the nobility of the Founding against the crudity of Trump.

And here is Matthew Crawford waffling about COVID and liberal individualism and authoritarianism. He’s on about two rival narratives, the Lockean one about us as “rational, self-governing creatures.” And the Hobbesian one about the state that “underwrites a technocratic, progressive form of politics” in saving us from the war of all against all.
