The Founders, having lived through hyperinflation themselves, understood that government should never have a printing press at its disposal. But from the very beginning of America’s founding, the desire for a crony central bank was strong.

In fact, two attempts were made at creating a permanent central bank in America prior to the creation of the Fed. Fortunately, the charter for The First Bank was allowed to expire in 1811, and President Andrew Jackson closed down the Second Bank in 1833.

Julian Assange Shows How YouTube Censors Ron Paul for Promoting Peace

Matt Agorist – In the past few weeks, YouTube has made an unprecedented move to censor political outlets which they claim promote hate speech or extremist content. However, as Julian Assange just pointed out, peaceful anti-war politicians like Ron Paul are also being snubbed out in the name of controlling the narrative.

When standing up against an illegal war with a message of peace and liberty becomes a censorable ‘offense’ it’s time to start paying attention.

To not be so blatant about their attempt to quash peaceful anti-war messages, YouTube is employing a form of soft censorship. Instead of simply deleting the videos—which has happened to the Free Thought Project on numerous occasions—YouTube is moving to slowly strangle alternative media through defunding their accounts, limiting their reach, and informing new viewers that the content may be offensive or extreme.

antifaRon Paul – Following the recent clashes between the alt-right and the group antifa, some libertarians have debated which group they should support. The answer is simple: neither. The alt-right and its leftist opponents are two sides of the same authoritarian-run coin.

The alt-right elevates racial identity over individual identity. The obsession with race leads them to support massive government interference in the economy in order to benefit members of the favored race. They also favor massive welfare and entitlement spending, as long as it functions as a racial spoils system.

Some prominent alt-right leaders even support abortion as a way of limiting the minority population. No one who sincerely supports individual liberty, property rights, or the right to life can have any sympathy for this type of racial collectivism.

More trouble for the mainstream media and the Washington war party as Ron Paul makes it clear – they are lying.

Think what you want of Paul, one thing you can’t debate is that Americans trust him.  He’s pretty immune to the “Kremlin Stooge” name-calling game.
