Chris Farrell – The Spygate scandal is shaping up to be the most significant political abuse of government power in history. And it may be even larger than people expect.
The investigation by U.S. Attorney John Durham into the origins of the FBI’s Russian collusion investigation – or as President Trump prefers to call it, the witch hunt – continues to expand. Durham reportedly opened criminal investigations last fall. Alexandra Bruce – Italian prosecutors made an announcement on Friday evening that there is an “80 percent” chance that Professor Joseph Mifsud is no longer alive. Mifsud had been charged by the Agrigento Public Prosecution office with misuse of finances at a university where he was president in the southern Italian city of Agrigento, Sicily.
The Mueller Report refers to Joseph Mifsud as a “Russian spy”, a claim which has long been denied by George Papadapoulos (aka “Papa D”), the young Trump Campaign volunteer who got caught in a perjury trap during the Mueller Investigation, leading to a 2-week sentence in Federal lock-up.
