Massive $7.5 Billion U.S. Award From WTO in Airbus Subsidy Case – Sets Stage for Countervailing Duties Against EU

trumpSundance – Jumpin’ ju-ju bones – The Trump administration via U.S. Trade Rep Robert Lighthizer and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross won a massive $7.5 billion award as an outcome of the World Trade Organization agreeing with the U.S. against the EU and Airbus subsidies.  The WTO arbitrators decision is final and cannot be appealed.

This win sets the stage for President Trump to deploy $7.5 billion in countervailing duties against products from the EU.  Keep in mind, a final WTO ruling means the EU cannot retaliate against any WTO-authorized countermeasures.  The downstream ramifications are very significant. Think about it: at 25% the U.S. could tariff $30 billion in EU goods. Continue reading

Iran Conflict or More Tariffs, Russia Hoaxsters Prosecuted, Fed Lost Control [Video]

tariffsGreg Hunter – Is America going to have a conflict with Iran? It looks like it is not. Trump is going to increase the already stiff tariffs on that Persian Gulf nation. One sure sign that is true is former National Security Advisor John Bolton is reportedly upset the U.S. will not be bombing Iran over the drone attack on Saudi Arabia oil installations.

Will the Russian collusion hoaxsters, such as James Comey and Andrew McCabe, ever be prosecuted in the seditious acts they committed on President Trump? More reports are coming out from DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz that are making it increasingly hard to ignore the malfeasance of many top government officials in making up a totally fake story to try to remove President Trump from office. It did not work. Continue reading

Trump Just Put China On Notice — Days Of Obama Are No More

President TrumpHarry J. Kazianis – The escalation in the U.S.-China trade war Friday – with each country slapping new tariffs on the other – is part of a larger fight that will decide which nation will shape the economic and geopolitical future of the 21st century. President Trump is right to refuse to raise the white flag of surrender.

Thankfully, few expect a shooting war to erupt between China and the U.S. Instead, our two countries are waging economic warfare, with trade policy being central to the battle. And like escalation in a shooting war, hostile actions taken by one side in our trade war with China will typically prompt the other to retaliate.

That’s why when China announced Friday that it would increase tariffs on $75 billion in imports from the U.S., President Trump was right to respond the same day.

“Starting on October 1st, the 250 Billion Dollars of goods and products from China, currently being taxed at 25 percent, will be taxed at 30 percent,” Trump tweeted after China hit the U.S. with higher tariffs. “Additionally, the remaining 300 Billion Dollars of goods and products from China, that was being taxed from September 1st at 10 percent, will now be taxed at 15 percent.” Continue reading

G7 Globalist Fear Trump Trade Reset

James Hall  – President Trump has announced that the U.S. piggy bank will no longer subsidize or be sucked dry to finance a pack of ungrateful allies. Keeping the Socialist EU afloat and putting up with backstabbers like Canada or allowing Japan to roll up massive trade surpluses must stop. The latest rumblings out of the UK are that all efforts are working overtime to nix the will of the Brit public from the Brexit vote. As for corporatists within the United States, the bulwark of opposition to Trump’s push to demand reciprocal treatment from “so called” trading partners means an end to the gravy train of plundering American workers and ripping off a viable domestic economy.

The business press has followed the pseudo political news reporting to trash all things Trump. The unbearable whining from the likes of ‘Free Traders’ Dagen McDowell and Charlie Gasparino on Fox business illustrates that fair and balanced distorts the value of understanding the core reason why our jobs were systematically moved overseas. Such globalists are not reporters. They are sycophants for their corporate masters. Continue reading
