Throughout history, language has always been the foundation for human civilization. Take prehistoric times, for example, where they drew on cavern walls to depict their story, to map out their game plan, and to discuss how they were going to move from one place to another.

The Babylonian Cuneiform, the Egyptian Hieroglyphics, and many more were essential for human civilization to be built, and without a proper form of communication, the world would not be where it is today. Likewise, it is crucial that people have a strong sense of delivery when it comes to sharing one’s thoughts, creating individuality, which sets them apart from others.

Therefore, when applying for one’s dream job, writing an essay that captures the charm of the writer and their communication skill is important.

Let’s pretend that a person is applying for a job as an engineer. It is quite common knowledge that engineers are people who are extremely talented in the fields of mathematics and sciences. However, no matter how exceptional an individual is when it comes to their job, the person reading their resume, essay, or outline, may not know unless the writing shows it.

Of course, one cannot be perfect in all subjects, but they do not need to be. What the managers and interviewers look for is not a master in all skills in life, but a person who specializes in their field, and also someone who is capable of clear communication. If a board of directors receive numerous resumes and essays for a job, the chances of the applications being similar is high, which kills the hiring officials out of boredom.

These days everyone has a degree, several volunteer hours underneath their belts, leadership positions, and so on. It is well known that a person should be well rounded when it comes to being successful in life, and this unintentionally results in almost every portfolio to look alike, and everyone to work solely on their resumes.

However, what others seem to forget is the importance of writing and how it can help one stand out from others. In a resume, one has to follow the guidelines to show their education and past experiences.

Fortunately, in essays, although there are some regulations one has to follow, the content of it is up to the writer to fill. To take advantage of this requirement is to be smarter than others, for through this essay, one can prove that they are special than others, more valuable, and more fitting for the job.

Aside from trying to rise on top of others through writing, one can also prove that their communication skills are superior to others. And they can prove this through clearly stating one’s goals and thoughts, delivering it in writing where others can easily understand. Like mentioned before, good communication abilities are vital for one to get a job, for there isn’t a job in the world where you don’t communicate.

Communication is vital in any setting, and that includes when one tries to get their dream job.
