Tenth grade presentation by Readers Digest in 1997 with huge emphasis on racial issues. Interesting to see what they leave out, such as Woodrow Wilson signing the country over to the banker of the Federal Reserve in 1914, Edison, but not a mention of Tesla. Constantly mentioning the word “freedom.” Readers Digest version in 3 hours, but nonetheless, it was interesting.
Unfortunately the info in this video is no longer available to 10th graders in American schools.
Yes. The presentation IS limited. However, the fact that there was once upon a time in America an INTEREST in the American story is the reason I decided to re-issue this video.
That said, your comments are valid. Hopefully there will come a time in the not too distant future when a decidedly more informative American history is revealed. – g
